Red State Soundsystem is busy developing a Content Management System (think Wordpress etc.) specifically for musicians and others working on rich media. It's called Dbasr, it's free, it's open source, and it needs a hand or three.

Many of you fine folks no doubt read the Coilhouse blog and so may have spotted this. For me this couldn't have come at a better moment, as I'm currently kicking around a few designs for my own website. Wordpress is very nice, but something that would cater to more music specific needs would be a killer app for me. If anybody has any questions or comments about it, do let me know. I'm really excited by this project, and I think I've done fairly well anticipating what people will want (as I'm a musician myself), but I can always use input.
