Getting flight tickets from Spain to Riga in September and return for 50€. Ok, so when I say "flight" I mean "shaky can of death that somehow manages to take off and hopefully land", but sadly I can't pay anything else than Ryanair. Looking forward to take a look at the Baltic area to consider a possible move there. Probably couple of days around Riga, and then I'll take a bus north to Tallinn.
I was planning to take a train, but have discovered that there are none. Not only there are not direct trains, but not so long ago you had to stop at one side of the border, walk 6km to the first village on the other side and take another train there. Don't know if it is still the case, but I feel I'm going to like the area if they do things like that.
@Taphead, get a gig in Estonia during those days so I can go see you live.
OK, I'm really pissed off with FreakAngels right now, in the way that one gets pissed off with really good stories in the middle of the suspenseful bits for not being crappier stories that jump straight to the payoff. If you see what I mean. I know that in retrospect I will thank Duffield & Ellis for making me wait, but at the moment I'm in the gritting-teeth phase...
I was really happy to read a couple of issues ago ( just catching up now) that Luton was flooded aswell, i love the idea of my hometown flooded and ruined, most people there deserve to die.
I could buy volume four while in Paris last Week end. And I found out they published volume one in French. I'm going to give it to a couple of friends who will be even more fond of me then. Thank you Whitechapel.
@Warren You didn't know about it either? That's mildly disturbing. And that's the cover for volume 2, not volume 1, so this doesn't seem like it's official in any way.
@Gekko What's the print quality like, any pixellation or blurriness?
EDIT: Clear-up, William says it's legit! :) Awesome! French + comics = win.
