    I don't even remember what's in this one. Shouting and explosions, I think. Giant naked people. Something.

    Thoughts?

    I really liked this issue. This arc hasn't had much impact on me so far — neither has Xenogenesis — but this issue I really enjoyed. The interplay between Beast and Cyclops, the big fantastic ideas, the art... good stuff.

    Giant, naked were-pteranodon! Jimenez's art was beautiful, the character interactions are interesting. They seemed a little odd in this one, but maybe it's because it's been awhile since the last issue and it's not how I'm use to the characters acting.

    One thing that I couldn't quite figure out... Beast is threatening to piss on Cyclops, Cyclops says he's done listening, and then Wolverine, Emma, Armor, and Storm are walking away complaining about being sent away like children. Maybe I'm missing something, but the Beast/Cyclops conversation seemed like it was supposed to continue but didn't.
    Was I not paying enough attention?

    So, yes, Scott's behavior in Xenogenesis definitely seems more like an organic transition from series to series now.

    This issue was filled with some great lines. I especially liked Hisako's line about the torture palace competing with Disneyland for a place in her heart.

    This arc and the end of the one before it really shows affection for the X-Men and their history. It's great. I don't think you could show much more love for the characters unless, you know, you had someone deflower Wolverine's sidekick (I really need to stop reading Rich Johnston. His articles are rubbing off)

    Phil Jimenez= Awesome on so many levels, I love his alteration on Bianchi's design; especially the Hisako Japan-buns. Jimenez can draw Henry so well!

    @Warren Ellis- Thank you, after the Black Panther advertisement in issue #34 I was disturbed, as was intended, by this Dr. Naga and what his genetic splicing could create. Kudos, you and Jimenez have created the only X-Men book that what it implies is so disturbing it's beyond words.

    Especially the half finished Magneto hybrid...Planet X Magneto would be Teletubbies compared to that ...thing, once completed. *shivers*

    @Warped Savant:

    Same with me, I didn't get that bit as well. Didn't seem clear.

    By the time I got to see the pages, it was too late to correct the error -- the other characters should never have been in the room with Henry and Scott during that opening sequence.

    Ellis -- Thank you! That has it make much more sense now. I'll simply having them walking away at the beginning and erase them from the background during the discussion.

    Liked an awful lot of it, especially Hank lecturing Scott at the beginning and some of the gorgeous monster art by Phil, but really at a loss as to how it's going to wrap up in one more issue. Does it tie back to Ghost Boxes or Xenogenesis somehow? Is there a third story you've got in the works that I don't know about? Was there more planned originally? Hoping for one of the first two.

    Oh man, finally got to read it and the Sinister Menace lives in Hokkaido! Since moving here that's the first time I think my island has popped up in any comics that I've read, so thanks at least for that. I'm really enjoying your various X-Men arcs, so, thanks for that too.
