Oh, and this is fairly new, the blog of Bill Moggridge, the director of the Cooper Hewitt Museum of Design in NYC. I also read Six Revisions when I need info for my web designing.
The League of Movable Type covers Typography and also provides open source fonts that are just beautiful & I've been using for most web projects these days.
Smashing Magazine is another excellent source of information, theories, trends, etc.
Abduzeedo is where I go for inspiration (and the occasional free font friday post).
