Seriously, I still love Connor's first appearance. And standing still when he's getting his throat cut. I'm impressed with CONTROL and SELF-DISCIPLINE, which is why it was so upsetting to see him just lose himself in these two episodes. Understandable, of course, but upsetting to those of us who can't understand why Connor hasn't been more of the leader he seemed to be in earlier episodes. I suppose from a storytelling standpoint it was important to put him in the background in order to give other characters (like Kaitlyn) a moment in the spotlight. And it's good to see that not ALL of them are completely nonchalant about the ultraviolence.

From the point of the "good-bye" and teleporting to touch Connor I thought something was up, but I never saw death by mental overload coming. And if it's not death then it's very simply something so faintly and technically different that the line is hardly worth drawing. I think Arkady gave Connor an experience that forced him to commune with the 12 in whatever Beyond Space that they reach through to tell someone "no, not yet."

Of all the things Arkady could do or say, I never dreamed she'd do & say that. I do wonder what Connor saw upon coming back to himself. But I'm sure we'll find out... Remember that when Luke died he also got a large data dump of things happening. Consider the situation again. Arkady's just told him what's happened, but Conner doesn't care because he doesn't perceive it as being relevant to him. So, Arkady (who is probably the strongest 'angel, given that she pushes the package and has died twice at this point) kills him, letting him experience the future 'angels for himself.
