I can connect for about two seconds before it disconnects me. Hearing some spooky sounds coming out the other side, though - or else that's just the connection noise.
I was going to run a live drumpad on the iphone and some korg/bliptracker on the DS....hopefully you guys will do this again
Now this all sounds very interesting but i'm afraid i just don't understand. Anychance someone could explain how to listen in or ( gods forbid) even participate? Eh? I have the means to input sound into my computer but beyond that all else is a mystery. I am old and of severely restricted cleverness, please bear that in mind. Ta.
Ah, I finally remembered to update the title of the thread.
Tonight's performance is now done, I'll edit up some pieces soonlike. And there will certainly be more of these to come, so if you missed tonight, you'll get a chance to join in on the fun. The more the merrier.
Awesomeness. Eager to hear it. More eager to get in on it at some unspecified future date. Alas, and as always, time and money dictate my availability.
Today things have been happening here at Dead City Radio. GOOD THINGS.
Ladies and gents, I give you the first thing ever played by The Whitechapel Orchestra. Artenshiur on acoustic guitar and vocals, me on electric guitar, Station on synths and Toby on sampler. Ten timezones are no problem for us. We do not bow to distance and time.
(As for the mixing/mastering: I've done some panning, adjusted the volume levels a bit, and added some grit and reverb on Artenshiur's track. Hopefully you folks don't mind.)
More shall follow as I go through the proceedings.
Yeah, that was the very first thing we spewed out after connecting, which is pretty damn impressive. This also means there's even better stuff coming along.
I'll put up a thread (or update this one) for session #2 as soon as I've gone through the material from the first one.
