    and The Decemberists - Hazards of Love is ready to go next.

    And for some reason I've had "Carry On Wayward Son" by Kansas stuck in my head all day, so no doubt that'll surface before the night's out.

    Also: i urge you all to check out Felicity Groom and the Black Black Smoke, in particular the song "39 Ways to Leave Your Lover" She's got one hell of a voice and it's worth a listen for that alone.

    How I got Over

    is a return to the type of form that bought us Things Fall Apart, after their departure into darker territory on the last couple of releases. With Ahmir "?uestlove's" Thompson's production on top form as usual, lyrical monster Tariq "Black Thought" Trotter turns back the clock with his awesome rhyme skills to prove once again that he is one of the most talented MC's ever to pick up a mic.

    As my profile says, Hip-hop is the love of my life, and The Roots have long been the ultimate in hip-hop bands - so this is already my favourite album of the year.

    (Neu! goes Pop, I guess? It's basically the reissue/reworking/remix of Neu 4 which is the only one I never had.)

    Best Coast: Crazy for You
    (Tremendous hype behind this one: almost unbearable, really. So far, It's coming off to me as a really high quality Summer-sounding, girl-group album. Less Lo-fi than I would have expected.)
