To save me the insanity of Fox News (they had Karl Rove as a talking head!) and the boredom of CNN, MSNBC Europe kindly put through the NBC coverage. Normally I tend to just ignore Chris Matthews, but he raised an interesting point about McCain winning delegates in, on the national map, largely blue states, while getting beat in a lot of traditional red states.

While the Republican race is more clearly defined, I'm not convinced there's not a further twist or two to be had. But then I'm the guy who thought Gingrich was going to run!

"The thing about W. Virginia isn't so much that Huckabee won, but that his did so because McCain's people moved to Huckabee's side to prevent Romney from winning."

Either that, or Romney's anti- McCain moves sent voters to brush past him and over to Huck...

Local radio in DC/VA/MD has also been incorrectly sending voters to polls a week early...

The surprise for me is that Bob and Carol and Ted and Maria didn't secure Massachusetts and California for Obama...

Well, I think they came through a bit, it just wasn't enough. Honestly, it's amazing he's coming in just under 10% of Hillary in California and it bodes well for the rest of his campaign. He'll need to gather the super delegates though and I think that's what it will come down to. If he can inspire his fellows as much as he's inspired me, then I think he's got a real chance. He's going to have to keep up that momentum though. I'm looking forward to my caucus this weekend though. Can't wait to give him my vote.

I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.

Huckabee is Bush-lite.

    That is all.

    So's Clinton.

Well, Hillary is not going to be able to debate against McCain, since she can't play her experience card. Let's hope Obama can pull some more of those delegates if we don't (I assume we don't) want a billion years war.

Kal over at Daily Kos has an interesting break-down on how things went last night, and how things are going to go:

I don't know how accurate it is, but it warms my Obama-loving heart.
