Here is good, for sure. There's lots of stuff on Whitechapel that I wouldn't have otherwise heard of.
Twitter, when you follow comics people, is great because they share the neat-o work their friends are doing, as well as keep you up to date on the stuff they are working on.
On a rare occasion, Coilhouse will do a post about comics, which is great. Wouldn't have found Escape From Dullsville, or any other stuff by Ristaino without them. He's now a favorite.
I love comics. I want to make them for a living. But I haven't found a website that caters to the indie, self-published, or weird comics, and those are the ones I really dig. Usually I follow publishers news if they publish stuff I really like, but end up missing a lot that way. Blogs and news sites compete to be the ones to break some story about the latest title a comic company has announced and that rather killed comics magazines like Comics International which can't hope to compete on that front.
