Bleeding Cool and The Beat are probably the only ones I actively read. CBR and Newsarama are in my RSS reader, but I usually just read headlines, nothing more. Newsarama is more for looking at art than anything to be honest. The Comics Reporter gets checked occasionally.
Similar to some other people who've already commented, I don't really read comic news sites. I go here regularly and that's it, unless you count the 2-3 dozen people I follow on Twitter who are in the comic industry and who will post links regularly.
Bleeding Cool fer sure, also really like the Jason Aaron / Vertigo blog Standard Attrition, and I'm a big fan of the writing at Hypergeek. Here and Warren's site are a given.
Robot 6: About three times a week. CBR: Every two or three days, but understanding what kind of a beast it is. Newsarama: I occasionally take a look (used to read it a couple years ago) and weep. Bleedingcool: Almost every morning, but understanding what kind of a beast it is. The Beat: Once or twice a week, but completely. The Comics Reporter: Not as much as I used to. My crappy computer doesn't let me browse in comfortably enough. Once or twice a month now, three or four times a week before my old Mac died. Comics Alliance, iFanboy, Standard Attrition, The Comics Journal, Savage Critic, Comics Worth Reading, Are You A Serious Comic Book Reader?, Chad Nevett's, Warren Peace's and Timothy Callahan's blogs..
Coverless, the Poopsheet foundation blog, Bleeding Cool, Whitechapel (while not a news site per se, I do get a lot of comics news here.) every day. CBR, iFanboy, and some others once in a while.
Don't read any regularly but I do my pull list on ifanboy. None of the news sites interest me that much. Anything that matters to me I usually find out via Twitter... or here I guess.
Bleeding Cool is the only one I read, and even then I might not have bothered if it wasn't for the Avatar connection & Do Anything. I don't actually know how I survived without comics news before then... I guess most everything interesting was discussed here or at Standard Attrition.
Well, I was writing for Hypergeek for awhile, so I should mention that one, but honestly, I don't really read comic news. There's a column or two on CBR that I try to keep up with, and I'll do a quick scour of most of the sites after a big con, just to catch any major announcements, but that's about it.
CBR Bleeding Cool Stripspeciaalzaak.be flemish/dutch site with rumors & pre-release info. Twitter has replaced many creator rss feeds / infrequently updated blogs / random news
Hmm, BleedingCool, The Beat, CBR... rarely others, but generally only when I find a link to an interesting article there I'll also take a look on what else they have and then forget about them for a month.
Bleeding Cool on rare occasions but I just don't have enough enthusiasm for most of the junk on those sites, creator insight is the only reason to browse them for me.
Honestly, I don't go out of my way to chase down comics news unless it's something I've been hyped about for a while. As a lot of people have said previous, I tend to get a lot of decent info from the people on here - like-minded people and all that. I occasionally check publisher sites if they've got a writer/artist I like doing a series for them; but Whitechapel and twitter seem to be the best way for me to go. There's a lot of stuff I would never have even looked at if it wasn't for all of you guys - so thanks!
