You know, I don't think I've ever taken the time to actually introduce myself.

I am Herr Direktor Funranium (AKA Phil Broughton). In my workaday life, I toil in the regulatory radiation mines of UC Berkeley. By night, I create the Steins of Science and the Black Blood of the Earth for Funranium Labs. I have been a cryogenics technician & bartender at Amundsen-Scott South Pole Station, I have held enough plutonium that it would have broken my foot if I dropped it, and built high powered industrial/scientific lasers. In short, I have lived a life of Adventure Science and it ain't over yet.

Fact: This gentleman makes concoctions as delicious as his taste in clothing is excellent.

Hello my name is Cameron Bassirpour. Middle name's Yousef. Considerably easier to pronounce.

I'm 18 and a student at Pasadena City College in Los Angeles. Currently debating between Journalism and Music Composition.

I love comics. I'm a huge fan of anything Batman, Green Lantern, JLA or DC-related. Can't stand Marvel (though I'll always have a soft spot for Spidey).
When I'm not reading the hero stuff I really like to read Vertigo. The darkness and contraversial tone of the stories warms my belly. To name a few: Heavy Liquid, 100 Bullets, DMZ and TRANSMETROPOLITAN (of course). I'll be picking up volume 8 when it's re-released.

If there's one first impression I'd like you to get from me, it's that I'm genuinely understanding and not judgemental at all. Unless you're a Capitalistic, Pro-Israeli, Top 40-listening, Technology-worshipping asshole.

and I'm a very proud geek/nerd. But not too proud. I think if you flaunt it too much, the title is basically a farse. (Tried to shrink the picture...terribly sorry)

I'm Marjukka. Been hovering in the background since the Stone Age. I am slightly academic, slightly punk, somewhat prone to ranting and slightly lost. Also a word junkie.

    Hello,
I was directed here by my muse and a writer friend I know. Mostly my muse, though I do blame Kaolin for encouraging it.

I'm 22 and a recent (unemployed) college graduate. I write and hope to be published. I'm rather geeky.

Here I am playing with the camera while working on a picture for the Weird Tales cover. Again, I blame my friend for encouraging this.

    I blame Kaolinfire.

@Mono - I thought I might, since Marjukka isn't the commonest of names, but didn't want to assume. Anyway: WOO! Awesome! Coffees some day, yeah?

    Hello!
I've recently become addicted to webcomics, and would have more of the classic comics if I was smart/rich enough to own/find them. I'm employed full-time at my local McDonald's, and I'm attending community college because education is important regardless of whether or not I know what to do with it yet.

My name is Ashleigh, I'm an artist. Or aspiring to be anyways.

    And me.

Hello all, I'm a writer and independent filmmaker in Los Angeles. Nothing up yet, I'm building my portfolio this year. Comedy Sketches in the fall, 1-2 short films after the winter and my first web series by spring. Everything's written, I'm just acquiring the rest of the equipment to film right now. I've got a lot of comic ideas I'd love to produce but nothings developed enough to start working on juuust yet.

Big fan of Warren and Whitechapel, I've been spying on these boards and you all for a while now. Now that I'm actually close to producing something, I figured I'd step out of the shadows of the interweb and introduce myself.

Hello, my name is David, or Dave whichever you prefer.
A friend of mine recently got into this site and I have been quietly reading for a few days now. I like the vibe here. That can't be said of most forums which is why I usually avoid them. And internet trolls. I avoid them too, like their predecessor the bridge troll only infinitely more annoying. But every now and then you must take a chance, so thought I would sign up. :)

I am an artist in Illinois who is not quite starving, but not yet well fed, who cannot seem to get to bed before 3 or 4 in the morning. I live in a world of fantasy and fiction, and sometimes the lines blur between that and real life even a little too much for me. When not drawing or painting until the wee hours I am either updating my website to feature my work or returning an unholy amount of e-mail. I also act for a comedy murder mystery troupe in St Louis that performs in the Lemp Mansion( also know as one of the most Haunted places in the world) So I have a bit of an unusual life, but it is never boring that's for sure.

Drop me a line to say hi anytime, I am usually awake.
