    This is basically a joke that Ariana and I pull each month in our joint guise as the International Electrophonic Unit. Basically, we take some of the stupider things I’ve said on Twitter and elsewhere, often in a state of extreme alcoholic refreshment or severe sleep deprivation, and put them on a t-shirt.


    Previously, this was a weekly gag. But as we move into summer, pressure of work is sitting on both of our shoulders like a shit boulder. So, for a while, we’re shifting from TOTW to T-Shirt Of The Month. Until I either run out of dumb ideas or Ariana’s brain explodes.


    So, at the top of the month, I’ll post the new shirt here, and you can peer at it more at http://www.cafepress.com/electrophonic.


    A lady on Twitter actually begged me to make this offhand comment into a shirt.

    Hey IEU gang.

    Has anyone else had issues with Cafe Press recently?

    I'd like to keep ordering items, but am losing faith in their ability to print a good t-shirt or ship my order correctly.

    Neither Fuck as Punk shirts I ordered for my friends ever arrived as Cafe Press deleted half of my address before shipping. The Tweet of Twithulhu print on the shirt that came last week is completely off-center, making it more of a $2 item, not a $20 item.

    As these were both monthly offerings, it's impossible to exchange for same until the design is back up, outside of any return time frame. I'm not sure if you have a way of resolving this on your end, but if so that would be awesome.

    Wow. Okay. Wrong day for this, as Ariana's pulled an all-nighter and is about to pass out for a very long time. And these are not things we can resolve on our end, sadly. BUT:

    * Will flag this for her attention. We can probably drop FUCK AS PUNK into the legacy section for a while for you.

    * Your TWEET shirt -- you need to send that back to Cafe Press. They fucked that up. They need to know.

    Trademarks cost money. Copyright does the job fine.

    My understanding was that only registered trademarks cost money (circled R). Anything else you can just slap a TM on so long as it's original/not used elsewheres.

    Not arguing though. I love these threads.

    Update...

    I spoke with Cafe Press a couple of times about the Tweet shirt to see if I'd get the same answer both times. Unfortunately,they're unable to reprint until the Tweet design is back up, but did gave me a full refund for the two Fuck as Punk shirts that never arrived. Other than having an off-center print, this situation is now much better. I'll watch to see if either shirt goes into the Legacy section and try for an reprint of the order then.
