LIBERATION THROUGH HEARING is great. Quite a bit of variety and some really cool ideas.

Umberto - From the Grave (pretty good, but very raw and unsophisticated)

Masada feat Bill Frisell - Knitting Factory, 10 April 1996

I've been wallowing in the wonderful music I've been downloading from this amazing blog. Avant-garde and experimental proto-electronica mainly, all of it interesting. All of the albums are long out of print, so don't feel guilty. The guy has removed the links to the ones that have become available.

    Alpha is perversely thought-provoking.

I TOTALLY agree with you. Alpha RULES

Albedo 0.39 is an awesome album. A personal favourite.

Tool's Lateralus has been gathering dust on my CD shelf for way too long. My girlfriend's in bed and it's just me, a cup of tea, Whitechapel and Tool.

Still listening to The Books The Way Out. Brilliant experimental pop.

    in the car:
    NIN - AATCHB (live album)
    Mastadon - Leviathan
Dethklok - Dethalbum I and II

    at home:
    Scott Pilgrim soundtrack
    Scott Pilgrim Score

I don't care: this is wrestler/fake fighter Raven's current entrance theme. I love how it sets the atmosphere for a showdown. The pro wrestler entrance music is really a lost art these days. Mostly composed, watered down hard rock, usually with stupid lyrics over it.

If it sounds familiar it's because he also had a intrumental/ripoff version of "Come as you are" during the 90's. Then again that opening riff was a ripoff of Killing Joke's "Eighties"

Yesterday i used the last of my free moneys and on Nigredo's advice, i bought Demdike Stare's LIBERATION THROUGH HEARING.

Wow! A mix of dance beats, world noises and very eerie drones. Love!
