The whole massive rainstorm / Luke running for his life / Arkady saving KK from doom arc was gold for me. Not least because of the utter barrage of multiple cliffhangers that made me scrape at my eyes in sheer frustration. -

The girls kicking Luke's ass after his assault of the unlucky lady. Walking in on that scenario, with their creepy eyes glowing and righteous anger (plus Alice with a trashcan lid) would be a nightmare. -
There have been some great scenes, but the whole "Luke back from the dead" sequence was probably my favourite. Just hilariously insane.

I really liked episode 0004. The image of Karl tending to his plants in a tin foil hat is always the first thing that pops into my head when I think about the series.

As far as pure artistry (both writing and art... ing...) I'd say the Luke zombie sequence.
As for things that I found utterly hilarious, I have to go with Kait's bitten-lip Quincy scene. The whole thing is so utterly surreal in the middle of a moider investigation. In fact, just about any scene in which Kait's tough cop facade breaks. But that one especially. -

The majestic silent panels of drowned London, throughout the books, are exquisite, thought-provoking and incredibly vivid and detailed. They compress so much information and backstory into such eyeball-pleasuring works of art... often leaving me with a floorbound jaw, staring at the screen for a good five minutes per panel.
I also love the tonal shifts in colour between the volumes (particularly vols 1 and 2), it's just such a wicked way to transition between arcs. To my mind, Paul's work on this series is absolutely groundbreaking.
It would be hard to pick a favourite character-based moment, but yeah, Luke coming back from the dead was mind-blowingly awesome - worth mentioning here again that visually, Paul knocked that speech out of the park and straight into orbit. It would have been an incredible Ellis-rant without such brilliant panel-fuckery, but Paul once again just took the ball and ran with it. I love this series.

I'm fond of the scene after the grenading of the Freakcave when the Angels go to war, eyes aglow and roaming the dark streets. It's proper spooky. -
I think my favourite part is Luke's recap monologue at the start of the current book. On the art side, I liked the sequence where Kait unfolds Mark's samurai sword.

Pretty much all of episodes 97 - 100. Specifically from the point on the last page of Ep. 97 where you figure out the whole thing was just Luke telling himself things in the first person to when he has a full page of exposition, ranting about all the revelations he's made from being shot in the head - and then KK hits him with a chair.

One for each character.
ALICE – the shooting of Luke. A two-panel cliffhanger where she’s basically standing in the same position, and almost making the same face. But the expectation of the shot before pulling the trigger and the white-hot satisfaction afterwards, all of it in the eyes, and so subtle. Add to that her hilarious retort, and you’ve got a character-defining moment. We’d been waiting for her to pull that trigger from episode 1.
ARKADY—jumping to Shoreditch Park. Everyone else is scared out of their wits, but Arkady’s face is scared AND excited AND crazy. Great open visual sitting in the middle of a book of dark images.
CAZ—she looks like a little kid when she talks to Alice about her dreams of a radio station. A great moment that reminds us just how young this entire cast is.
CONNOR—you could have done a ten-episode comic interlude about teen Connor’s misfortunes in love and gastrointestinal disasters and I would have laughed the whole time. Ellis having more class kept it to a couple of panels, and then twisted the knife by making us think he was going to leave. But hey, anytime you guys wanna do a low-brow prequel, I’ll be on board. A funny moment which only makes his present scenes funnier by comparison.
JACK—the big blow up comes close, but his introduction still hasn’t been topped. He showed more emotion, more poise, more JACKNESS than we’ve seen since. It illustrated, by comparison, just how out of place he feels in Whitechapel.
KAITLYN—the revelation of her little Abu Graib prison, the bloodstained writing on the walls, the pool of water (dirty water is probably the most life-threatening thing you could have in a prison), and she blows it off with a nonchalance that would make Dick Cheney blanch. Laughing at Mark was a close second.
KARL—giving the strawberry to Alice, well aware of the reaction she would have. Karl’s thoughtfulness often goes unrecognized, much like thoughtful people are treated in real life.
KIRK and KOKO—it’s going to be a common one in this thread, but when a scene is so perfect you re-read it dozens of time you’ve got to give props. The best scene of the series until Luke’s resurrection. The first scene of the series that rewarded the audience for paying attention. “You didn’t.” “I did.” “I did not just hear that.” “You heard it.” Couldn’t be improved upon if it was rewritten.
LUKE—couldn’t be improved upon if it was redrawn a thousand times. A zombie Hannibal Lecter. What’s scarier than that?
MARK—a zombie Jesus, that’s what.
MIKI—taking charge of the situation with two kids who don’t know how to behave with a dead body in the room. And these are the same two who are usually putting OTHER characters in THEIR place. Cements the hierarchy, shows again just how much maturity she has, and just plain funny.
SIRKKA—reacting when Jack was hurt, in a bra. Hey, I’m a heterosexual man what can I say? -

Nearly every time Arkady says something profound, but you're not sure whether to take her seriously because she's got that wide-eyed, childlike look on her face that makes you think she's completely bonkers. I love those.

ANYTHING about Kait's obsession with Quincy but ESPECIALLY her assertion that his cock was a foot long and that he was a crime-fighting genius.
