Listening a lot to Brad Laner's Natural Selections. He's a veteran of the LA underground scene (Medicine in particular), and his new one is an unpredictable shoegazey thing infused with Beach Boys and Eno's "Here Come The Warm Jets" (or something like that, to my ears).

Speaking of Lawrence Arms, I have been digging on that Sundowner record that Chris McCaughan of LA just put out. Kind of similar to Ragan's solo work, dark and dusty but with punk roots.
Today: Bob Dylan - Freewheelin' Bob Dylan Sunn O))) - Moniliths & Demensions Roky Erickson & the Aliens - The Evil One Lifetime - Lifetime
