Tanith Lee. Michael Moorcock. Its illustrators have included the wonderful Margaret Brundage, Virgil Finlay and Hannes Bok. Spooky stuff. Mysterious stuff. Strange stuff.

Weird Tales publishes The Weird Shit. And now you must design a cover for the most venerable and yet modern magazine of The Weird Shit.

I secretly covet most of the sheer conceptual brilliance that comes out of these threads, but I really value the butt-kicking to keep the bar as high as others raise it. People give a lot of compliments here, but it's not just a mutual admiration society, or the echo chamber that some art sites are prone to be. For every "Good job!" I get here, I also have a "Crap, well, there's someone who just schooled me!" moment. Which is good, because I don't come here for an echo chamber, I come here to box at my weight and see where that takes me.
