    @ Audley Strange

I KNEW IT. I dread to think what she stuffed it with. Apart from love, obviously she stuffed it with love.

Yes, Paul - your arse looks big in this. In fact, Remake/Remodel always has that effect on you.

Now, shh! ... if I can just figure out how to hold the pencil... using only half ...

Raid71: Are you kidding me? That's STUNNINGLY BEAUTIFUL. Great work, and someone should hand you money for that.

Sizer: Looking Good. Love the story titles; I'd totally read them.

@Sizer I think we are all a little tired of your raising the bar ways and artistic awesomeness.

@Raid you good sir are making this remodel daunting, good job.

In all seriousness the wonderful talent here always makes these remodels highly enjoyable.

@eightser You said exactly word-for-word what I was going to say, and beat me by 14 minutes.

Here's the funny thing, folks: I still view my entries as exercises to get as good as others on the threads.

I secretly covet most of the sheer conceptual brilliance that comes out of these threads, but I really value the butt-kicking to keep the bar as high as others raise it. People give a lot of compliments here, but it's not just a mutual admiration society, or the echo chamber that some art sites are prone to be. For every "Good job!" I get here, I also have a "Crap, well, there's someone who just schooled me!" moment. Which is good, because I don't come here for an echo chamber, I come here to box at my weight and see where that takes me.

So thanks, but when my stuff is phoned in or just plain sucks, I wanna hear that as well (constructively, if possible, but honest).
And thanks to Warren for providing the boxing rings and the matches.

Woah. Don't get ahead of yourself, Paul. Nobody said "Good job"....

Of course, there's still a few days. You know how it goes, everyone keeps raising the bar early on and just before the thread closes someone posts a schoolin' for us all.

NB: I don't mean me. Mine will come later, yeah, but that's simply due to how slowly I work.

That said, we're four for four on quality and diversity so far.

And thanks to Warren for providing the boxing rings and the matches.

... we use the matches to set fire to the rings, right..?
