@richard basey - That may be my favorite design yet. I can see it working, and it's very cool.

@Annie - It would be great tattooed on your face. Or anyone's face, for that matter. Someone should tattoo that to their face, pics required.

I'm away from my normal drawing rig for the rest of the week,
so here's a little something that I hastily coloured using the tiny touch-pad on my netbook.

    the doctor

The guitar is to be carried at all times but it is never to be played, used or even mentioned throughout the series.
The Inter-dimensional Space Wellies and the Bum Bag of the Infinites are an entirely different matter and are to be used at least twice an episode.

The big, red, deus-ex-machina button on the sonic walking stick can only be used once
(During the season finale, if the actor playing the 13th Doctor signs on for another year.)

    Dr. Whouse?

Hugh Laurie + Doc Brown = Dr. Who, M.D.

I wanted to give him a cane, but realistically, the same people who'd want to put mr. Laurie in this role would probably want to try to distance themselves a LITTLE from you-know-who.

    EDIT: Different black/white scheme.

Sort of going with the whole getting younger with each regeneration, cuz I like the idea of him aging backwards like Merlin.

Lots of fun designs so far, too, as usual for these things. The one I see as the most actually-viable-for-a-TV-show so far would have to be Ben Templesmith's. Could see that guy work in NextWave, too.

Who's always been about quirky-but-snappy dressing. Sizer works well for that, too, and... Man, Bill Murray as Dr. Who. Yes please.

    13th by Tony Veronese

My take on 13. Figured he would be a bit more brash, smug, harder to deal with. For a companion I chose the idea of a botched resurrection/regeneration of the Master, now being a little girl. She'd still have all of the Master's memories but with the new personality of a 10- year old. Refuse her ice cream and she'll attempt to wipe your existence from the time stream. The Doctor would take her in as an attempt to leave the universe with a replacement...calamity ensues.

    Thanks for the time,
    -Tony Veronese

Right, Jack CRowder fixed me up with Pia's doctor and goddamn if it isn't brilliant. Not particularly shocking, Pia you must hear that you're a genius about ten times a day. If you don't I'll happily fill that role. }:>

Oh and people have really brought their A-game to this R/R, Well Done!!

Forgive me if I break any rules, first time posting anything. My 13th iteration would probably make a very short and kinda sad season.

Here's #13 ... and the back page would be the below:

There is a tenuous link to Doctor Who for Ultraman - so I went there. It's about a vaguely sexy alien ...

This is so fun, and I was really inspired. A fun deviation from my work, and lots of great ones being posted!
    The Thirteenth Doctor

I like that the Doctor is a time traveler, and his clothes are often mixed and matched from different era's but I was still trying to keep it stylish. I wanted to bring back the curly hair because quite a few of the other Doctors have that and a nod to the scarf. Finally he's a ginger too! I also gave him River Songs Sonic Screwdriver. So I kinda nerded out when doing this.

It's meant to look like Paul Bettany. I figure in his 13th incarnation he's going to be raring to do even more crazy things before he goes. And Paul Bettany's brilliant at playing crazy geniuses. And all the incarnations like to look dapper, so i figured a waistcoat would be right. the TARDIS is wooden panelled, sort of like the 8th Doctor's TARDIS, but cooler.

    Also, hello! I'm new.

@ Ben Templesmith – You win. That is an amazing piece!
@ Paul Sizer – As always, fantastic! I am ever jealous of your line work
@ Annie – Great colors… great to see you back
@ dennisculver – I really like your concept
    @ mrmcdaniel – Yes… and great Bill and Ted’s phoneboo… er, I mean TARDIS

Like many here I am a HUGE Doctor Who fan, so this got me stoked. I went for a more explorer/adventurer Doctor and a TARDIS that briefly regained its camouflage ability but got stuck again... in a most unfortunate form! The logo is supposed to be his psychic paper...
