    beetley bug

    Saw this awesome Beetley Bug the other day when I was having lunch, and took like 15 shots of it, and only stopped when my boyfriend started getting embarrassed. When I left, the table next to us started cracking up, and I can't help but think these two events may have been related.

    Don't have a clue what sort of beetley bug is is, but I thought it was pretty awesome. If anyone knows, let me know so I can start referring to it as something other than "the awesome Beetley Bug".

    My wife took this; it's either the sculpture park at the NC Museum of Art, or some weird alien landscape. Taken with her Holga:

    @Erisah: that's a Harlequin Bug (Tectocoris diophthalmus) - I think they're awesome. :) This makes me conclude that you are somewhere on the east coast of Australia.

    Meanwhile, grafitti: fascinating at a range of scales.

    Somewhere out in Lancaster, I'm trying to work out what the hell kind of photography fits me best...

    Music promo / editorial / presskit stuff:

    Bad Taste Barbies

    Or random weirdness.

    The Madness of Crystal Grenade

    Or something else entirely.

    @gmb Why choose? Go with whatever!

    I took a few photos on my trip to Montréal, but at the request of the client, I cannot post them. But here's a shot of Café Pi, a place I was killing time at before going to meet the lovely Veronika Von Volkova

    @JonC - YESSSSSS. Love that photo. Perhaps mostly because it's the sort of picture I would have taken, but better.

    I don't know about you but, if I'd taken it, it would have been a lonely hotel room sort of photo.

    @smileyfish - Damn do I love your peeling graffiti. Now it just needs to mate with some spores and become something sentient.

    @Krakatoakatie - love that shroom, that's awesome...
    @256 - cheers, I was kind of thinking 'hotel room' but that's my living room light, frigging bulbs keep blowing so there's only ever one working... taken with my phone especially for this, as I hadn't taken anything other than family snaps for weeks...
