Michael Hussar had live figure drawing going on all weekend in his room, along with liberal lashings of drink and drugs. My hat is off to him; the man is a rock star.
Robert Williams showed up to get in on the action.
Anthony Ausgang working on the group jam painting in front of an audience.
The GF took this one - me, working on the jam painting with William Stout.
The place where all this went on is amazing - The Mission Inn in Riverside. Open since the late 1800s, most of it was built, Winchester Mystery house style, in the early 20th century, by a later owner who had a Hearst-level mania for collecting exotica from around the world. This place is four stories tall, takes up a whole city block, and is designed in a wild mix of Spanish colonial, Moorish, and Japanese kitsch. There are even honest-to-goodness catacombs underneath, used during Prohibition. It's like the Overlook Hotel, as designed by Gaudi and Walt Disney.
Soooo, I've found a photography shop nearby and have decided to try selling quality prints.
Photographs such as these:
There's a handful of them, actually. You can see them on my tumblr. If there's something you feel I should have included, something you'd be interested in purchasing, do let me know.
Went down to the beach tonight. Littlehampton apparently has the longest seafront bench either in England or Europe, I'm not sure which. Although I think bending it like this is cheating!
