"Goes To A Lemon is full of high quality tunes perfect for a late night joyride, a doze underneath glow-in-the-dark stars, or a hardcore blissed out neon basement dance party. Megabats pump out the deep, dark, euphoric fuzz beats with pink stars blazin past at lightspeed. Clearly this is right where it's fucking at. "
and a great review of The Slaves is up at Dead Formats "Essentially a perfect album. ....like a heavier My Bloody Valentine without the drums and Kevin Shields... or something."
Both can be streamed and purchased on my bandcamp or any major MP3 store.
I reorganized my Soundcloud presentation today. Organized everything into sets that help the whole thing make more sense, historically and conceptually.
My band Death Watch are playing a halloween soiree at Cafe Drummonds (not really a cafe) if anyone in the aberdeen area wants something to do that eve!
I've finished another Biggie remix album. I'm happy with it, it's got a good flow to it. It incorporates live instrumentation, programmed instrumentation, sampling (even Bob Dylan), turntablism, and electronics. And it's free.
Hi guys. I contributed vocals to a track on the new EP 'The Six Billion' by Twin Lizard Allstars V4. It's underground / esoteric hip-hop from a Lincoln-based netlabel, Needle In The Groove, and has contributions from rappers and producers worldwide. The track I'm on is called 'Nemesis.' Hope you enjoy it!
Myself and some other emcees from Black Lantern are going down to Lincoln to play a gig with Twin Lizard in Jan / Feb next year - if you're nearby (Sneak, I'm looking at you!), we'll give you guestlist places if you hit us up in advance.
The drummer (Judah Nagler) for one of my bands has another band called The Velvet Teen that is releasing a new EP on iTunes tomorrow (11/11/10). It's pretty sweet...check it out.
'Upstate", the indie film that used my track "Coracle", has been picked up by a distributor, so I'll get a little more money now... and more if the film ever shows a net profit.
You can hear this completely uncharacteristic tune at Soundcloud, in the "Executive Lullabies" playlist.
