   My top three:
   
   1) Bourbon Furnace:
   1 cup hot apple cider
   a few whole cloves
   double-shot of bourbon
   a pinch of ground chipotle
   a cinnamon stick (or, put a ground dash of that it in too!)
   
   Fire it up!
   
   2) Lambwool Wassail, the old-fashioned way! I've also used a good mead in place of the wine and it gives you a lovely buzz, very cozy.
   
   3) A big glass of Bowmore 17 or Laphroaig Cask Strength, neat, near a blazing fire. This one is usually the most satisfying. . . .

   Yessss. . . the port is gooood! Particularly when you are not in the mood to throw peaty firewater down your throat! Sometimes I like it straight up, sometimes as a Broken Spur (some sweet vermouth and triple sec added in). It mulls nicely too; I find it more pleasant to drink in this season than mere wine!
