    Page Seven? That's just cheating.

I'm alright, just about off for a week of holidays, if the Good Lord's willin' and the creek don't rise.

Bah! What to think? What will happen? I'm so confused, now!

Love the beautiful colors. I think I still have a scarf, used to belong to my mom, that has all those colors.

Crappy week. Crappy rain. Weekend is very welcome.

    "it's a bird? It's a plane? it's a kite?" NO,IT'S KK'S FLYING WHATEVER!!!

Well, she IS wearing wings in that one promo picture...
  1.  (8932.24)
Correct: it's KK's flying contraption, whatever it will be! I'm sure it will surprise us!
Mark is a lousy planner, all brawn, little brains.
    In volume four:
"I'm the better mind of this generation, you're all little kids! Let me mindfuck you, already!"
Then after Arkady, Karl, Caz and KK telepèorted to join Kait:
"Wh-What did you d-do.... I'm sorry." (falls unconscious)

    One of best FA moments!

"I'm fixing the hole where the rain gets in, and stops my mind from wandering, where it will go, ..."
Can't stop that song from running in my brain looking at these brilliant pages and reading this text. Yeah, Beatles STILL rule!

excellent episode, like the surreal imagery - Paul has always been very good but he somehow keeps getting better. Can't wait to see if that is KKs new bike

good news on the personal front - nothing torn in my "good" knee - it is just really irritated and inflamed and I have to take it easy and take a few weeks - which I'm not a fan of but considering I originally thought I'd done serious damage and would have a matching damaged knee ligaments I'll take that prognosis and be happy about it

I have no words today other than 'thanks' to all of you. FreakAngel's is officially just darn good. I not only like it; I like it a lot.

Mark v. Connor. The Ultimate Mental Showdown.

    hmm...kite-like object + KK's ingenuity....flying sail bike?
    but that's just ridiculous.
(I recommend looking up Solar Sails though, those things are awesome.)

now is Connor remembering the flooded city and dead people or is he seeing the future or is his subconscious just as trippy as mine is?
the fish were a nice touch.
  5.  (8932.31)
Hmm. I'm wondering if page 5 is a flash from the past or a glimpse of the future.

Another excellent installment by two masters at work, and it's free! So thank you:)

On a personal note, a few weeks ago my right arm swelled up to Popeye proportions(I swear to god It almost sprouted an anchor tatoo.)
It turned out to be a blood clot, techincal term a Deep Vein Thrombosis. It was slightly unsettling news but I was okay with it, the doctor told me I needed to take blood thinning medicine, Coumin to be precise, and that due to the fact that the clot was at my upper right shoulder(under the arm pit somewhere) which he said is uncommon, I had to take the medicine for 6 months instead of the standard 3 months, which i figured was not too bad considering, until I found out I could not ingest any alcohol.

    NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

Trippy; and again amazing colours. Wish I could still take acid ...

A week of almost completions: we have a bathroom! which is always good in my book, even if there's still no mirror so I have to shave by the faint reflection off the new tiles. And two papers got wrapped up, with one off to a journal, another due to say bye bye on Mon. and a third almost finished except I'm at that stage where I'm so close to the work that re-reading it all I get is madness madness ... so I need to back away, pig out on proper 'chippy' chips tonight and sidle up to it again tomorrow, or even sunday. And t'wife's away so I get to ... do what i normally do because I am that sad.

Definitely past. That car is modern. It looks like Whitechapel on the day of the Big Punch.

Yeah, you're right. Car with dead passenger in it should have been a big clue.

    Right.
I never say this because I figure it's part and parcel of the episodic thing, but:

    BASTARDS!
    Gah!

    Leave me hanging? Like That?

Brilliant as ever, hope you all have lovely weekends basking in your successful attempts to completely throw me for a loop. Which normally I don't care about, but today: GAH!

MASSIVELY RAMIFIED. I'm not completely sure what it means, but I think it'd be a safe bet that it's exactly the way this week's episode left me.

@SnapDragon: Great idea! Peter Weir would be an excellent choice to direct FA: The Motion Picture. Although I would go with Terry Gilliam ...or maybe Richard Brooks.

On the musical mash up front, I think Fixing a Hole would blend quite nicely with the Eastenders theme, and if we throw in Purple Haze, we can put a big purple and orange neon ribbon on it. Hmm, that might work splendidly under the main credits. Check with Peter ...or Terry ...or Richard. What? This is all just idle speculation, limited (at least for the nonce) to my own rather desperate imaginings??? Well of course it is. Sorry. I didn't notice the enormous lime-green brain standing there, synapses a-crackling.

But then, I'm MASSIVELY RAMIFIED. Innit?

I have the same routine every Friday.
    "Ooh ooh ooh new Freakangels!"

"God damn it, I want more! Now I have to wait 'til next week. Shit."

hope you are good and well stocked with Red Bull for teh weekend, Ariana ^__^
    How's everyone else?
Meh, usual point in the week where co-workers and anything with a pulse needs to keep the fuck out of my chair swinging range.
Woke up extra-zombified and so I put 3 of those STOK black coffee shots into my iced coffee. They have ice coffee at 7-11 now so you can serve yourself and then add as much evil shit to it you want. Thank fuck.

love that second page: "DUDE, I am FREAKING OUT"

The last couple of episodes seem to have a completely different rhythm: they just flow right along. Epically spacey art and superb colouring. The story's not bad. ;)

It's like reading a Pink Floyd graphic novel.

I've been loving this sequence of Connor "upgrading" himself. I have a feeling that once the rest of the gang figures it out there will be some crazy action at Sirkka's place as they all do the deed. Or not.

And dammit, that page 7 was a doozy!
