John "Jughead" Pearson, who was in Screeching Weasel, has this band called Even In Blackouts that do a FUCKING AMAZING cover of "Angel Wings" by Social Distortion. Now I usually hate Social D, but this song is done by EIB so amazingly, it briefly makes you wonder how Ness wrote such an awesome song. The story I heard when I got my hands on the song was that it was recorded and performed by the band as a wedding gift to a friend, but I don't know for sure.

I can't find any sort of web presence for this band anymore, which is infuriating because YOU GUYS NEED TO HEAR THIS SONG.
