To follow up the earlier Erasure cover of A Little Respect, yet another one!

And I can't remember who shouted out the Bad Plus version of Flim, but I have to say I was a little disappointed by the drumwork on that. There was so much room for him to just go nuts, which he does really really really well.

    And now, Brad Mehldau:

Aaaaand to round it all out:

The PS22 kids doing Velvet Underground, pretty goddamn great.

    I wasn't this cool.

Mad World has had more good covers than any other song in pop history.

I like this cover of Zombie, which I always honestly thought was a song that just could not be covered.

Also, there are two great bands that specialise in innovative covers. Both, oddly enough, I think are from Germany! Is it something in the water?

Van Canto cover all sorts of popular metal songs using only drums and vocals:

    Wishmaster

    Battery

    RIDDLY DIDDLY DIDDLY xD

And the Baseballs cover pop songs in a 50's style.

    Umbrella

Seriously, I thought nothing could make "hey there delilah" tolerable for me... these guys did it :P

Jah Division - Dub Will Tear Us Apart

And in that vein, the entire Easy Star All-Stars catalogue. Try at least their version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, which is a sublime take on that album.

@Tap, that Wilco cover may be my favorite on this whole thread. That and the Swans' Can't Find My Way Home cover.
