    I like this cover of Zombie, which I always honestly thought was a song that just could not be covered.



    Also, there are two great bands that specialise in innovative covers. Both, oddly enough, I think are from Germany! Is it something in the water?

    Van Canto cover all sorts of popular metal songs using only drums and vocals:

    And the Baseballs cover pop songs in a 50's style.

    And in that vein, the entire Easy Star All-Stars catalogue. Try at least their version of Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon, which is a sublime take on that album.

    also i was just recently listening to the Dillinger Escape Plan ep with the Come To Daddy cover. neat to hear those drums played by an actual drummer
