For those of you who don't know it yet, Barry Adamson is the coolest cat in the world!

Snake River Conspiracy - Lovesong
First heard this in the electric ballroom, and spent months hunting for what it was afterwards only to be disappointed by the band in general. I'm surprised no-one's posted it yet!
Tori Amos - Smells Like Teen Spirit
Again, surprised no-one posted this one! I never really "heard" the lyrics to this song until she covered it.
Deftones - Ghosts
This is a pretty straight-laced cover, I was just surprised to hear the Deftones do it! I love the original hard.

my absolute favourite cover version
REM
doing First We Take Manhatten isn't on youtube but this one runs it a close second.
this is pretty sweet too,
Cat Power doing
Sonic Youth's Schizophrenia mixed with Skip Spence's Weighted Down.
British 80's grindcore monsters
Concrete Sox
improve Metallica's Whiplash no end
and the
Young @ Heart Choir
are phenomenal (if you've not seen the documentary then you really should)
