Therapy? -Crooked Timber (I really like this more serious direction) and Barry Adamson's Stranger on the Sofa
I also found a couple of mixtapes I made over 10 years ago. Currenlty listening to a Bowie tape with songs panning from Outside to Hours (thrown in some live tracks with NIN). I really enjoy the sound it has... very retro :)
@texture - Das Racist is actually two emcees, the sleepy sounding one and the more articulate, nerdy sounding one. Haven't been able to stop listening to that Sit Down, Man mixtape yet.
Atari Teenage Riot - Various tracks arranged in an order to get me most hype. // I tried to fight it but i'm psyched for the reunion show. Lil Wayne - I Am Not a Human Being // Thank god after rebirth lil wayne is reborn as a killer whale/busting your ass and splitting like james brown/in bitches like tampons/"You boys is washed up and I'm shitting on you like two girls one cup". I had to insta delete one song but the remaining 11 are solid. Willie Hutch - soul portrait // classic soul jammer. I <3 hutch if you haven't heard a motown era hutch you owe yourself a treat Issac Hayes - Hot Buttered Soul // JAMMER Blood Brothers - Crimes // fits the tone of the last WIlliam Gibson (i just finished) perfectly Das Racist - Sit Down Man // On my last east coast tour we played a show w/ one of the Das Racist boys and had a great time. They're cool dudes who showed us the best Taco Truck in Queens at 2am. The album is really good as is this write up Himanshu did on Outsourced

Their new album Nucleus is a fantastic mix of Seventies hard rock, NWOBHM, Sabbathy doom, scorching blues licks and modern Metal embellishes from blasting to discordant strumming.
