Yeah tonight's episode had me squealing for joy, and it just confirmed to me that it is the greatest thing the idiot box has ever produced (until there is a Transmetropolitan mini-series, that is).

Am I alone in this? Whitechapel, show your fanboy love...

Please hide spoilers. I'll watch later in the week.

Yeah, VB is full of joy and pathos.

I've been missing Doctor Orpheus this season.

He's back this season, and has possibly one of his funniest lines ever!

I completely agree. I'm not sure I've ever been as emotionally invested in fictional characters as I am with the characters in Venture Bros. I remember being so upset during the first season finale. Tonight I was squealing like a little girl.

When Brock said "You sure did Hank, you sure did" I felt so proud.

Yar, I love that show. I have not seen the past two seasons though because I like to get the DvDs and watch them back to back. [over and over] However that's abit pricey and I have to wait till my birthday and lay guilt trips on friends and family. Hence not seeing any recent episodes. Thanks for hiding spoilers, much appreciated.

Love this show (says the man in the Order of the Triad T shirt). Depth of characterisation, taking risks both with content and formula, mad geek jokes - very hard to think of a show that packs so much into 22 minutes of TV-grade animation.

@Dovryn: No spoilers, but I think you'll be pretty happy with the stuff you've not seen yet.

@looneynerd - I was far more happy with the notion that we might

Finally see what Dr. Venture would've become without his neurosis, even if that's most of the reason I love the character.

"Get your ass the Mars!" - Hahaha, callback to Season 2 commentary!

I love that even with the growing masses of fans at the comic cons and 4 seasons under their belts Jackson and Doc are still just two tortured men in a cramped Astrobase, writing a cartoon however they want to and making little to no compromises. It's a constant inspiration for me.

This seasons really going by too fast. Just like that last one. Now I'm excited for the next episode, which is going to be the prequel to last night's ep ^__^

Mystery Science Theater 3000 will always be the best show ever for me but Venture Bros. is a close second.

I am and always will be more partial to The Brak Show but I appreciate the Venture Brothers. BIG Johnny Quest fan from waaay back but I'm not that versed in the Ventureverse. My buddy lent me the dvds of the first two seasons and they were great but I confess I haven't seen any since.

This from the episode before last:
The back and forth between Hunter and Brock about how sad the stripper's tits were was so hilarious.

One of the funniest things I heard in years.

"It's like 'The Notebook' sad." My wife insisted on rewinding that sequence four times because she kept laughing her head off and missing parts. LOVE this show. It's so strange to go back and watch the first season, with the change in animation style. But regardless, from past to current, still some of the funniest writing ever.

Col. Gathers: It's downright reasonable. I could pole-dance better than half those women. Good lord, son, there should be a mandatory retirement age for strippers.

Brock: Did you see I got cornered by Robin last night? I almost had to chew off my own arm to get away.

Col. Gathers: Ohh, that poor woman has the saddest tits. Damn depressing.

Brock: Right? Yeah, they're like The Notebook sad.

Col. Gathers: Her tits are like "coming home from school and finding out that your old man ran over cat" sad.

Brock: Mournful. She has mournful tits. They're like two suicide notes stuffed in a glitter bra.

Col. Gathers: Those things are like a little kid with progeria cracking all his ribs trying to catch a Nerf ball—just sad. Damn it, she has gloomy tits!

Brock: It's like she put a dollar's worth of change into some old socks and then taped them to her chest.

Col. Gathers: I want to build two little caskets and give her tits a tasteful, dignified funeral.

Absolutely fantastic. And the twist of the last episode had me gagging. This show is magnificent and depraved and it is NOT afraid to go anywhere and I love it.

Saw last Sunday's episode. Hilarious. Dean spent his summer well.

I may have to break down and get the DVD sets.

The Venture Bros is my favorite television show. It's one of the few things I keep up with in real-time (along with Community and Doctor Who when it's on.)

I get it via iTunes. I'm happy. Then I buy the DVDs. To share.
