As for the episode... fuck it was another amazing episode. So much character stuff with some humor in there that made me have to pause it to hear the dialog. I do wonder has Rusty's super ego been awoken a bit? Is there a chance we will see Rusty evolve even slightly? The reveal that the various deaths of Hank and Dean haunt him is also a pretty juicy piece of character building disguised as kind of a brilliant joke. That and the bit a few episodes ago when Hank and Sgt. Hatred are pretending to torture him and he reveals that Hank is actually his favourite because he reminds him of himself, and I'd say we've actually seen a lot of growth from Rusty this season.
