I believe it opens Friday in North America, and opens here in the UK a couple of weeks later.

    Anyone intending to go?

Anyone intending to avoid it completely?

(The latter people can leave their addresses in their posts, for later visitation. Thanks.)

Planning on attending opening night, if my schedule allows. Otherwise, I'll definitely catch it sometime over the weekend. Fairly excited, at any rate.

Hoping to see it Saturday afternoon, depending on what time I am expected at a friend's bachelorette party.

Trying to organize an NYC Whitechapel meetup to go sometime over the weekend.

Going to try and catch it Saturday. Though the idea of a meetup in LA sounds intriguing. Impossible, but intriguing.

I tend to avoid movies for the first 2 weeks they are out.
In fact have not been to a movie on the opening weekend in years.

That said, I'm planning to be front and center for this Friday night.
Partly cause this movie looks fun and I think a crowd will add to that, and partly cause anything I can do to boost the first weekend and make this thing considered a hit I want to do (I presume the better this does, the more likely more of your stuff will get optioned....and I'd like to see that happen)

I'm sure I'll be adding my 2 cents again after I see it.

Based on the positive early reviews, yes.

I'll try to get to it this weekend. I know movies supposedly live and die by their openings now.

The trailers keep making me giggle inanely.

    Yes, mostly likely Saturday.

I will be there this weekend with tempered expectations and hope it exceeds them. I'm going because of Warren and who doesn't love Malkovich?

I'd love to but I'm afraid I won't have time this weekend.

As an aside, i was watching tv with my mom and some news show had a "what's coming in cinemas" piece. They showed a clip of Helen Mirren saying "I kill people, darling." My mom loved it.

Probably hitting it up Sunday before the Sunday Night I Stole Your Baby Kinga's Lounge Open Mic Comedy Really Long Nameathon, (Colfax and Marion, Denver CO!!! Come one come all!). But seriously though, it looks good. Great cast, good people are involved in the production; I'm sure it'll be awesome.

I'll wait for the cam thanks.

    *Usain Bolts it.

Sadly I have no time for the cinema, or movies in general these days… * weeps

Oh, has that been made into a movie?

(Good-bye, world, nice to have known you...)

I plan to catch it as early as possible, even if I have to break my rule about going to the cinema alone. Seeing Brucie nonchalantly walk from that spinning car, gun blazing, has made me kinda eager for it... Little annoyed I've gotta wait till the 22nd to watch it though...

Planning to do the NYC RED meetup, if that ends up happening.

If I am done with my work, yes, probably. I like to be supportive and I'm a sucker for anything with Helen Mirren in it.

I have to read Red first, but plan on seeing it, because John Malkovich being gung-ho with large firearms is something I've always wanted to see.

Maybe this weekend, but it will be soon one way or another. My schedule is a bit wonky right now but Red will be getting my movie-going money.

I really want to go, but my daughter's birthday is this weekend and we're hosting a bunch of 9 and 10 year-old kids, then I'm going to a wedding next weekend. I'm hoping that it'll still be in the theater in a few weeks when I have a chance to go see it. My husband and I are both really looking forward to it.
