Had dinner with William Gibson and a few of his other European fans at the weekend. Took my FA field bag, one other diner was wearing an FA t-shirt and I discussed the current cliffhanger with another of the diners.
Got to see the doctor tonight and I expect to be medicated for my blood pressure. I have made a start in changing my diet by replacing all fatty and salty foods in my work day with fruit. Next I (and the people around me) have to go through the misery of giving up smoking again. I hope to get my blood pressure down and get off any medication as soon as possible. My own experience with illness has been rather odd. It was a week ago today that I first realized I was actually sick (I'd suspected it on Thursday, but had nothing conclusive.) Since then, every day has been worse than the last, but none of them have been truly horrible. I have been in a very slow and steady decline for a week, now. I have to say I'm glad it's happening this way, rather than a four day progression through horrible illness, because I had a Calculus test yesterday and a Physics exam in three hours. I've been able to show up to class, albeit medicated by Menthol cough suppressants.

Pity we've no Freakangels. I was looking forward to Sirkka seeing everybody with an upgrade deal with their newfound powah.
