oooh Christy Road would be awesome on one of the prose heavy stories that i like!
as far as established comic artists, my dream list is much like some others:Quitely, JH williams, pasqual ferry, james jean (ha! i would shit if he drew ANY comic really),frank miller (ok really? yeah im a little drunk)
as far as what may actually be feasible, Ryan Kelly, Yannick Paquette, Becky Cloonan, Shane Davis and Jamie Mckelvie would be a pretty nice group with good variety
Alessandro Barbucci (Beautiful detail, a little cartoony at times) Ian Gibson (Great backgrounds, can be sketchy or quite realistic pencils) M.K. Perker (Very clean lines, characters are easy to tell apart) Camilla d'Errico (Great paint work, anime influenced) Tony Harris (It's Tony Harris.) Dan Brereton (if there be monsters there, great paintings, good at 1950 settings)
Trying not to duplicate any of the excellent suggestions made so far, limiting myself to artists who I think could do good action and haven't done Global Frequency before:
