    Paul explains.

Morning, Whitechapel -- and, yeah, we're running a little late this morning, too, hah. I just got back from PDX, where I didn't have a lot of time to check in on everything -- how's everyone been this week?

came back from london trip to find that temperatures had dropped, and that heating was broken.
spent most of last day and half working from home while waiting for engineer to arrive and sort it, or diagnose, go away, come back next morning with parts. sorted now at least. which is a relief.

Come to think of it, I can't think of any time before this that an episode has been "missed" rather than "skipped," and I've been here more or less since the beginning. No apologies needed, Paul, Alana and Kate. Look at it this way - if Freakangels goes on a bit longer than planned, then so does Whitechapel, and that's something I'll always be in favor of. Keep up the good work, folks.

Almost everything since after the screening of Red last Friday has been downhill (loved Red though)
I have a Head cold and pink eye and a deadline looming over me, i dunno. What the hell besides deadlines loom?

Anyway, best bit of the week was a video I made in only a couple of hours was posted on a local magazine website. Apparently outside approval does wonders for your mood.
Trying desperately to remain optimistic, so I think I am going to set my computer to export some stuff and poke around whitechapel for a bit.

    how is everyone else?

No need to apologize, Paul. Better a quality completed product than a rush job.

How have I been? Bloody marvelous. I'm always bloody marvelous. Healthy, too!

I have contradicting feelings. On one side: "damn, another week waiting for nothing" and on the other hand I agree completely with the lurker. So I wait for next week, when maybe some things get a bit clearer.

Aw, pickles. I won't get my free web-comic. Sad boy is sad.

How am I? None of your business. I'm WAITING, is how I am? For what? Slow, lingering death.

VOTE CHIP ZDARSKY! is what I say. The very epitome of slow, lingering death.

Came to work. First phone call was an interior designer decorator.
Seems I caught a barrage of swear words for something I had nothing to do with.
I hold nothing against Paul and Company. It would prolly take me 6 months for half a page.

No FreakAngels?! Oh god, I'm getting the shakes.

I somehow missed that Signal was available for pre-order, so this "missed week" actually worked in my favor. now all I need is confirmation of an Avatar booth at Wizard's New Orleans Comic Con in January and all will be right with the world. perhaps william christensen will read this and answer my prayers...

Well work has been mental and I'm glad it's Friday. The Spending review announced by the guvmint has put everyone in a bad mood. Thatcher going into hospital raised expectations and then disappointed many (again). I am skint.

Apart from that though, the sun has been shining and it's been cold and crisp. I got a cute card allegedly dictated by my 1yr old niece. There's been some good telly - yay for Autumn telly! It's Friday and the interlude message from Paul was interesting. I wasn't completely sure what 'flatters' did as I've only noticed the word recently and now I know for sure. When I am not-skint, or at least not-as-skint, I may well have a nose around the art brigade's offerings.

Although I am really curious to see what comes up with the helicopter, it's all free. Complaining would be sort of silly, yes?

Actually, don't. I'm going into mild Freakdrawal.

After a long stint of no work, I finally got a decent assignment. Then I blow out my back in the first hour and now I can barely walk or shit. The way it's starting to feel, I imagine that by tomorrow I'll be entirely unable to perform either of those two basic functions.

    So much pain...

Ech, this only makes the wait to find out what is in the 'copter all the more tantilising, like some kind of webcomicy tantric sex deal.

My week has been horribly busy, but it's going to make this weekend, including a viewing of RED, all the better.

@staticgirl - disappointing, eh? I was so hoping to catch a glimpse of the hideous spectral form of Thatcher dissapating over the London skyline.

    Have a great weekend, folks.

    No Freakangels... meh.

I was so hoping to catch a glimpse of the hideous spectral form of Thatcher dissapating over the London skyline.

I'm surprised she didn't go out on the day of the cuts announcement, uttering 'my work here is done' with a rasping cackle before the red glow in her eyes finally dwindled.

I am tired and tired and tired and stabby today. Probably because I ate about thirty sugar mice instead of proper food.

Very blah. trying to get excited about something, anything. Mostly bored, if not disappointed by everything, beginning and ending with myself. Another spate of having a hard time getting out of bed without necessarily wanting to stay in bed. Oh bloody hell.
