    @JTraub- It's possible, but I dunno.
    Wouldn't being off the island make her look older than Ben, not younger?

    @mexicutioner-
    Even if she did discover that, Widmore would still be more directly responsible. But how would she find out about Keamey as it was just Ben, John, and Keamey in the room? Keamey is dead, John on the island, and Ben hunting Widmore with Sayid. Nah, path of least resistance: her dad and Widmore.

    That is unless she blames Jack for not turning back. But if she goes that far she should have three people on her hit list, not just two.

    Regarding Annie:

    I don't reckon it's Charlotte, I reckon her connection to the island is something different. Apart from the fact that Charlotte has an English accent and looks nothing like Annie, Ben already knows her background and who she is. I guess if she does have a connection to Dharma then Ben probably knows and has been hiding it, but it doesn't really fit for her to be Annie. As for what happened to her, I think it's possible she was killed in the purge but will come back as a 'ghost' at some point.

    I could have sworn that I replied in this thread last night....

    Now I don't remember a bleeding thing from what I posted, except to say that the polar bear in the desert has been explained...Via, Ben's waking up after moving the island. He seems to have waken up in a place, that could be in a relative geological region like where Charlotte was examining the bear skeleton. Perhaps, the bears were chosen because of the seeming "frosty" section where Ben had to go. And maybe they switched to "time-traveling bunnies" (God, I loved that line, and that whole scene!! Locke's face after the video says not to put metal in the...thing = excellent!) after disappearing a polar bear and some people.

    Excellent ending to the season. I loved the island disappearing effect, and how the decision was made on who the six were - kind of voids the subject on how they chose who went home and who stayed on the island.

    Yeh I thought it was interesting the way they eventually ended up leaving. When we first learned of the Oceanic 6 it seemed like there was going to be some decision made as to who stayed and who got to leave, but as it turned out there was litte, if any choice in the matter, they were basically forced to leave, which is quite ironic really.

    i agree that the time traveling bunnies scenes was brilliant. perhaps my favorite of the episode. i hope that when the season 4 dvd set is released that they have an extras feature of nothing but dharma initiative orientation videos!!! i would love to see the video that explains the smoke monster.

    The quality of orientation videos has been getting better and better while Wickman/Hallowax/Etc. hasn't aged a day. Anybody else notice this?

    @mrghosty: You mean, you've not watched the beginning of the show??? OMG!! You must go back and view them now!!! Right now, no matter what you're doing, go and watch the first and second seasons!!

    With the exception of Desmond's episodes, the entirety of the first season is my favorite.

    Wow, I and anyone I've introduced LOST too have sat down and devoured the first season the quickest...My favorite episodes usually revolved around Locke, Hurley and then Desmond have had the best ones. I guess mostly because they've all lost the most and gained so much at the same time...I guess that doesn't really make that much sense - except, that it does. :)

    I really, really like Des. I was happy when he came back and became more a part of the show, and was genuinely moved when
    he and Penny were reunited
    . I am assuming that's not the last we'll see of him.

    See you in another life, brother...

    There's been too much invested in him, and he's too connected with the Widmore's for that to be the end of Desmond. well, in my eyes. :)

    Oh I'm sure we'll see Desmond and Penny again. Remember that Ben is looking for Penny in the future, and just in general her connection to Widmore is important.

    Desmond is an alright character, although I find the way he calls everyone 'brother' irritating.

    Des will be sticking around, you can be sure of it.

    About Anne, Ben's childhood gal.

    I reckon he got her pregnant and she died. This combined with his mother's death likely leads to Ben's obsession with fertility on the island, something Alpert apparently feels is a waste of time.

    Sayid works for Ben. Desmond loves Penny. Thus, I conclude that Sayid and Desmond are going to butt heads in the future....until Sayid finds out Ben's reasoning of course.

    killed Locke, possibly under Ben's orders
