    -"Alex CF creates awesome fantastical steampunk doohickeys .The pieces themselves are exceptionally detailed and lovely (go to his site for a looksee; my faves are the werewolf kit and the Cthulhu expedition items), but selling them on a site as mundane as e-bay is the masterstroke here; it makes the stuff feel even more authentic. I get a shiver imagining the synaptic burn that might come from actually holding of these things one in my hands. Attention, producers of ‘Doctor Who’!     This stuff is brilliant. Even more so by the fact that he is a vegan and only uses naturally dead animal bones, fake flesh and recycled leather from old clothes.

    I want one of his sculptures now, damn I wonder how much they cost.

    I'm having a time out until I can learn some manners.
    I love Victorian gear. I collect knives and a friend of mine has a battlefield surgeons kit from the Boer war that is both beautifully made and terrifying.
    During the Zulu wars the Zulu witch doctors had anaesthetics while the brits had nothing but a shot of rum and a stiff upper lip.
