Aaaaaaand we're back. With a moat. A MOAT.

Good morning, citizens of Whitechapel. One hopes you've survived your two-week FA fast and have returned to us safe and sound (enough). How's everyone?

Does the moat include the remote?

There is something about a TV showing white noise that makes me want to shout:

    "They're he-e-re!"

(Just adding some tension until next week)

Shit! Where's the fucking helicopter! Warren you tease! I was at least hoping it would be revealed on the last page. It better not be a skip week next week.

I think this just broke my brain. Other than that, I'm good, and it's HALLOWEEN THIS WEEKEND!

Ah. Okay then. I suppose we (I) have to calm down and seriously consider whether the story really needed an incursion of U.S. military jackasses... But still. I'm just glad to have some new pages after the drought. And what's on TV? "This week on Top Gear, extra-special special guest Warren Ellis!" Happy Halloween, everybody.

But is the helicopter inside the moat or outside? Or, is the moat more of a dome, or only at street level?..

Sweet! Well worth the wait. I like that the big-ass-future-radio-machine-thing can broadcast backwards in time.

Now is that TV coming to life as part of the "good" FreakAngels' plan, as something Mark and/or Luke are cooking up, or from some external source?

I think the chopper was hovering over Southwark, so it's probably outside the moat. Probably.

Hahaha, this thing keeps coming better. The worse is the one-week waiting.
When I've discovered FreakAngels, read aproximately 70 episodes one before another in a couple days. After that, the depressing long one-week waitings...
But worth the wait. Each time.
Thanks, you mad people at Whitechapel.

And when the people of Whitechapel realize that there are pockets of time where things are like they used to be, how many of them will try to get back to it? They're bound to want to try to get back to life as they knew it before, aren't they?
  2.  (9110.11)
If there's a guarantee that that would happen, maybe. But there's no indication of that.

I like new episodes! And Sirkka got her bellybutton back.
  3.  (9110.13)
Once again, story did not go the way expected. Moat in Time. Genius.

It did suck that there was two weeks with no freakangels, but It was bearable considering I still have more than four months before I can drink again.

Also, I would like to humbly request that Sirka from now until the end of the series should walk around in her birthday suit. That is all.

@ Bood - y'know what? Sirkka might actually do it, too. If it weren't chilly.

Another great episode, more great Alice, great stuff from Kait, great all around.

So that chopper's time-displaced? So it can't necessarily land? Or CAN IT?
  4.  (9110.16)
The military helicopter vanishing (temporarily?) only makes it scarier. Well done.

OK, this is a surprise: Connor is putting Whitechapel hidden from the outside world by putting it in a kind of time-vacuum which will hold for a day. And the FA's who are apparently now living in two planes at the same time (can we still speak of "the same time"?): their spiritual level where they are discussing things and the Whitechapel level where Alice must hold the fort while the FA's bodyies are somewhat immobilized.
Well, this turn of things was surely worth waiting for, and next week will last too long again.
