    Members of Whitechapel,

Thanks, Warren, for running this thread again. Great to see so many awesome webcomics out there! Man, the changes from a year ago are startling!

We've resumed SOLDIERS with a new artist, Francis Ysip, and the latest issue kicks off this week. Here's the cover Francis put together:

    SOLDIERS ONE Cover

Also launching this week is our latest webcomic title, The Guard. It's written by me and illustrated by Roland Brown. It's a rocking sci-fi story that I hope you'll enjoy. This is the first page of the inaugural issue:

Please, swing on by the sites and let us know what you think.

That time again? Wow. I do appreciate Warren letting me plug this every month, I find I've got so little time to make the effort to effectively do it online elsewhere. Thanks Warren.

Anyway.., The Profane Comedy of Audley Strange.

Normally I post recent pages but a family matter has slowed my output. These are a couple of pages that do not make up part of the main story, which are a bit more light relief between the larger work. I hope you enjoy.

    Hello all.
So I thought I would throw my 'hat/comic' into the ring. Breathless Ikarus is only a few months old, and updated weekly (mostly) at the moment. I'm piecing a story together slowly, out of time, out of sequence, the series is a puzzle as is much of the imagery. It's based around a young man in a strange house who is feeling a little lonely and reminiscing about past encounters, particularly with a certain girl. But that is certainly not the whole scenario, there is a bigger mystery at work here. It's a prologue to a much longer story that is currently in development. At times witty, at other times a little sad and maudlin. Please enjoy, and I would love to get some comments, as this is a new thing for me.

Hello! I have a weekly webcomic called Monster Isle! It's about Kaiju (a.k.a. "Giant Monsters") living their day to day life. It's been running for about a year, updated once a week (Thursdays), so there isn't too much of a backlog to go through if you'd like to go through the archives. Here are a few examples (I recently started posting the strips in a slightly larger format btw):

Again here's the link: http://tragic-planet.com/monsterisle/ Take a look!

A little about me -- My name's Joey Weiser. I've done a couple graphic novels with AdHouse Books (The Ride Home, Cavemen in Space) and do a lot of anthology work including Flight and Superior Showcase. My homepage is http://tragic-planet.com/ where you can find out more!

Funny Shorts is a webcomic that, as Warren said in the start of this thread, is about getting the ideas out. It's also about getting better at art- both the drawing aspect and the storytelling aspect. We started up about 2 months ago and we're really just trying to go go go and get this stuff out.
Bernie Wrightson once said how every artist has 1,000 bad drawings in them and that practice existed to get them out of your system- with this in mind, Funny Shorts is sort of a public showing of that with some funny, we hope, stories.
We post something new every Sunday and hope to increase that eventually. The topics planned for the strip cover all manner of sins but for now we've dealt with Neil Gaiman, Dinosaur Presidents, the movie "Footloose" and uses for brisket on Halloween, among others.
Below are two of the posts. (they appear much smaller on the actual webpage, sorry about the size here)

    Brisket

Thus Always to Tyrant Lizard Kings

Wow, there's a lot of great stuff in this thread that I haven't seen before. I've got some catching up to do!

I write The Specialists, which is about what might happen if the Nazis had developed their Übermenschen, using the occult and eugenics. How would it affect the outcome of the war, and how would The Allies respond?

We're pretty new (we just released our 25th page), but we're off to a good start, and we post a new page every Monday.

Hey Everybody. Dang, there are some amazing looking comics in this thread... My firefox window is overflowing with tabs, and I'm looking forward to checking them out. My name is James, and I write a weekly webcomic called Something is Killing the Children with my artist buddy Joe.

We just started a few weeks back, with five pages up so far... There's a lot I want to do with these characters and this world, and the series will shift out of the introductory teen angst into some real horror as we work our way through the winter. I hope some of you will join me for the ride.

If you're not familiar with us we're a growing webcomic that's run for roughly the past six months about a young female superhero and the things she has to fight throughout her life ranging from terrible puns to philosophy. We love bringing a colourful joke once a week and we hope you enjoy such greats as

Surprisingly heart-felt at moments, while cynically absurd the rest of the time: DingleBerries is a comic treat for anyone with a pronounced love of drinking, a secret love of gaming, or any combination of the 2! It is a semi surreal carousel ride for the nintendo generation, as seen through the jaded and murky viewpoint one only achieves by looking at life through 2 inches of corrective lenses and the bottom of a beer bottle.
Gag-a-Day strips interspersed through a multi-chaptered ongoing story arc provide the backdrop for the twice a week (wednesdays and sundays) celebration of the modern geek which is: DingleBerries!

(includes additional art and character inspiration by "Glukkake")

it's like finding out Santa Claus isn't real... Because Kefka choked him to death!

    epic heroes ALWAYS game responsibly!
(the better drawn one is by Glukkake of course)

    Cy-Boar
A wild boar was taken into a secret government research facility and experimented on. These experiments and military training molded Cy-Boar into a deadly weapon. Cy-Boar realized that he was being controlled though, and broke free...

Now, he is trying to figure out where he belongs in this world. He thinks like a human,
but can't live among them. He looks like a boar, but is no longer one of them. So far,
he values the Project's other experiments as potential friends and is trying to find
    and help them.

Cyboar is escaping after accidentally assasinating a US Senator

Cyboar continues his escape by breaking into an old woman's house.

Hi- my name's Cody and I write and illustrate a new webcomic called "The Pale". It's about dreams, and it's a bit like The Matrix or Inception. Because the images are really long and scroll in a viewer, this might not post well. I'll try to make it really small so you can get an idea. Here is page 1:

    Page 1

The site still needs some work- I there's a few bugs in Internet Explorer to work out, but it works fine in most of the other browsers. And now, I'll be spending the next 5 hours exploring all the new comics I've never heard of! Great work guys and gals-
