Aggressive Cape Buffalo actually. One of the most dangerous animals in Africa to hunt. Super high tolerance for pain and they go NUTS if you don't take it down in the first two shots. They're actually known to double back and hunt the hunter. Basically, the Logan/Wolverine of African game.

Okay - i finally stopped laughing at Chris G's Logan joke back on page 3 long enough to join in.
Here's a print i did last month for all those folks who have the "wrong" thoughts about C'thulhoid tentacles:
    C'thul-Whu?
    C'thul-Whu? a sexy side of C'thulhu

So much beautiful linework to look at here. It's goddamn mesmerizing.

As for me, this is a work in progress:

    Koi 03

Next step will be an orange glaze over parts of the Koi.

@Howyadoin: I like. The offset in the middle one is quite charming in my mind. Will you update with the finished versions?

Hey there everybody! I'm currently participating in the Gorillaz 'Design The Evangelist' competition - it's sort of like a whole bunch of people using the same tools to do what Whitechapel does every other week. It happens in 4 weekly phases, and I'm about to start my entry for Week 4 - I was wondering if I could get some feedback on my initial (and final) sketches for Week 3?

2A, with a weedy sea-dragon and Jean Simmons' face...

    2B, with a cigar-chomping turtle...

2C, with a bigger turtle and a sort of spacegirl-dress...

And the final submited design, Which You Can Actually Vote For if you're feeling generous and don't mind the wait as it loads. I decided to do a sort of Wicked-Witch-Of-The-West meets Man-With-No-Name, with little red turtles.

So...good? Bad? Anything that needs improving/taking away? I lay myself before your gathered wisdom.

Here is another new Parody Painting, based on Monet's series of the Rouen Cathedral

And as always you can check out any of the 22 Parody Paintings here, in case you missed them.

@Sobreiro - Sketched some random shapes& lines in Alchemy, then blocked in form that seemed to emerge:

    Hanibal 1

... then just focused on the'eye', built the drawing around that using Manga Studio pen & hatch tools.

    I officially love this thread!

@NeilFord: beautiful textures, really really like your style.

Aaand a couple of drawings from my sketchbook. I'm currently so busy trying to balance work and uni so that I don't get around to do any more, not even thinking about what I want to do.. *sigh*
