A thought occurs to me ... shush, it happens from time to time:

All the 'Angels just got an upgrade, and are going to be taking a while having themselves their bonus comas. Except TWO. Which means Arkady is going to be stuck alone with Mark real soon. But thanks to Luke's shooting spree earlier during the rain at least Arkady has the added benefit of being upgraded twice now?

As for me, I ruined my back a couple weeks ago and I still can't walk right or bend over. And the doctors, they do NOTHING.

Maybe I'm interpreting things wrong, but I figured the "time moat" works relatively. That is, if you're crossing the moat time flows normally for you - it takes you all of a minute to cross the road - but meanwhile 24 hours have passed inside Whitechapel. So the helicopter could quite easily fly into Whitechapel without running out of fuel, it's just that from the perspective of anyone inside the town it won't arrive until tomorrow.

I was thinking Mark is in the middle of his second upgrade thanks to the FA strike on his brainmeats that resulted in a stroke. More worried about how the time moat and...thing... will bring unexpected things to Whitechapel and Arkady will have to deal with it as well as managing a town full of scared norms. Also unclear on how much longer Luke will be out from the chairleg to the head. Maybe he'll go all "my enemy's enemy" and join forces with Mark or maybe he'll find some other new way to be a shithead. And maybe, after a full day, a big troop transport helicopter will get through a space that should have taken ten minutes to cross and, completely out of fuel, crash down on Whitechapel. Good times.

This week has not been what I was expecting. though I should have expected to not be remotely productive, I didn't expect my brain to be whirring nearly constantly. I feel like I haven't created much because my hands can't hope to keep up with my mind. which on an objective level is lame and sucks but on a subjective level, it's like I've been high all week. Or they may feel like flying through some real thick air or real strong headwinds or whatever which prevents them from progressing so they have to turn back before they run out of fuel.

Thinking too much? Hmmmm... the more you do think about this the more complicated it becomes. :-D And I wonder how Paul and Warren think about this matter. But that may become clearer when the series evolves.
