@Purple Wyrm: the thing with that playing with time is that it offers so many options. We are used to time as being not-adjustable, invariable going on at a continuous speed. But when time becomes variable and manipulatable like here it all depends on what side of the manipulation you stand, especially since the way time goes by differs whern the position of the observer shifts: Conner states that the notion of time depends on wether you are in or outside of WC. (at least, that's MY interpretation)
When you look at it from the FA's point of view it may look like the 'copter needs a full day flying to reach WC, from the 'copter's side of view it may seem that they pass WC without even noticing it. Or they may feel like flying through some real thick air or real strong headwinds or whatever which prevents them from progressing so they have to turn back before they run out of fuel.

Thinking too much? Hmmmm... the more you do think about this the more complicated it becomes. :-D And I wonder how Paul and Warren think about this matter. But that may become clearer when the series evolves.

(oh yes, this discussion is not easy for me for English is not my native language, finding the right words to express just what I want to say in these more philosofical matters is difficult, so if things are a bit hazy on my side, don't fuss about it please...) ;-)

I can say one thing: weeks take too long to pass because of FreakAngels.
    Every episode is a satisfaction.
Kaitlin would live inside a TV series if she could. Actually, she tries to be all the time.
And now, all that's left to me is to wait for another week...

    Stay tuned!

What a wonderful six pages! "...until his legs fall off." Wine cache carefully hidden by the tin hat. "Police brutality Christmas." "A bit less of the supervillain dialogue, eh?"

And Arkady. My money's on her over Luke and Mark without much risk. Another drug OD experience, anyone?

I've always liked Kait. Police brutality christmas rocks!

It feels like I'm dying. Second flu in a month, it seems? First I didn't have a fever, only the pain everywhere, the head and the sore throat, so I thought it couldn't be a flu. Then the warm/cold/warm came along, it feels like my nose is trying to give birth to my brain, and now my fever is at a point where I'm starting to have fantasies where I am Jesus and you fuckers lured me into taking all your pain and I'm just waiting for that Roman soldier with the spear to come poke me to death. So thankful I'm at my parents' place. ...yeah, I'm whining, but this started on tuesday/wednesday. I'm sick of it!

So, if Mark and Luke are such a threat, why didn't they just all pool together and suppress those two guys' powers and keep them unconscious for the next few days, to give themselves more time to deal with the oncoming threat and decontaminate Mark's drones? Would they be able to do that? That way, Arkady would only have to deal with the outside threats, instead of what might happen if Mark and/or Luke wakes up while the others are in brainshock naptime.

Because 23-year-olds don't really think of all the angles, even with upgrades.

Rickie: 46 or 69 years old also don't really think of all the angles. Most of the time, with, without and maybe even in spite of possible upgrades. :-S

Most of the humans only think from their own perspective, and don't really care about the consequenses for others. Unfortunately...
But, due to their abilities, the FA's somehow will have to learn... one way or another. And Conner is one of the first to recognize that. (for I think Arkady beat him to that. Yes, I have a softspot for Arkady. ;-) )

Kait is an oddly complex character, she may be one of the most dangerous Freakangels yet. Thankfully she seems to be willing to listen to the others and puts whitechapel first.

Speaking as an artist, I feel that Paul Duffield is a genius of colour and a visual visionary.

The weather here in Adelaide Australia could not be more perfect.

    That is all.

I want to believe this lull, but it feels like it's a setup for a horrid reveal, like arkady is a sleeper for mark and is about to go bugfuck crazy and kill all the small childrins.

    either is good

Palatine Road is a seriously wonky area - spot on!
