    If you enjoy drinking heavily and talking shite with other comic fans, join us at the Pauper's Pub (Bloor & Lippincott, right by Bathurst Station) in Toronto on Saturday night. We'll be kicking off about 6pm and continuing for as long as we feel like it.

    I should be there a little early (5:30 or so), as I'm going comic shopping in the 'hood. Also, the biggest tables should be near the back on the main floor (by the dartboards - if you feel like a round of darts). Migh try to cojole my buddy Krondor to come out and have fun.

    I will definitely be there. Might be a little tired as I'm planning on walking there from Scarborough, but I'm a tough old hag and should be fine (though once I sit down I won't be getting up for a while).

    Two points of interest:

    -BMV is selling 4th Edition D&D books for $14 a pop. Wouldn't have mentioned it, but I noticed Redwynd's post. MUCH better than the $40 they usually go for.

    -Sunday night at the Toronto Underground Theatre they'll be playing a double feature of The Wizard and The Last Starfighter. If you're like me and grew up on those video game things, you might like to come along!

    Thanks for the advice, but I've actually sworn off buying books for a while - if I get any more, I'll need to buy a new bookcase, which means getting a new apartment to have room for the bookcase, etc etc.

    Looks like I'm going to be coming, but I might be a bit late. I'm nominally supposed to be at work until 6, but I may be able to take off a bit early. I'll look around for you lot when I get there, but when you see the blonde guy in glasses and an oversized hoodie (with a Freakangels bag), pull me over to the table.
