    @Bevis - Batman + pipe = cool

    @DarrenEvans - Your Batman is very steampunk!

    @sebfowler - A minstrel-faced Joker - great idea!

    @Paul Sizer - Maybe some talented person could create an online motion comic of Steampunk Batman and use your title cards

    @FredG - I love the style & I love the Bat-rigible. I'd been thinking of doing a Bat-barge, but I don't think that would've been a very speedy kind of transport

    @Miranda - The French poet Robin has a mischievous monkey - well of course he does!

    @chris g - As howyadoin has already said: Batman in spats is a good idea

    @Tristan Davis - Great wordplay

    @hellospaceboy - Any chance of getting your pic bigger, so we can see the cobbled streets in more detail?

    @mrmcdaniel: Oh man, you have NO idea how close I came to going with that idea. Wonderfully executed (as always), and much love for Metropolis!

    By Jove, this singular thread charts new magnitudes of pulchritude.
    Hell of a show, all.

    @LivingDead - Possibly my favorite costume design in this thread so far.

    Great entries all around, folks. And thanks to Uncle Warren, for making it all happen.

    @ Ken Miller - Nice
    @ geof – I love the simplicity of the design… its one of my favorites
    @ struthersneil – The Brass Wonder is a great idea
    @ mthemordant – Yours is my favorite thus far
    @ Paul Sizer – I am speechless, sir (it a silent movie after all) [the title cards were a great touch]
    @ kyle-latino – Great colors

    kyle-latino -- Nice remix of the source, one of the best DC covers of the GA.

    Um... You know what I desperately want right now? for most if not all of these submissions to be part of a calendar. 36 month..maybe 48?

    Is that possible? Sure each artist would have to give his or her own permission, license or whatever, but would it be cool with DC at this level of remix?

    Not a clue how to make this happen, only the certainty that I would die to get these on my wall (or otherwise in hard format). Any thoughts?

    @ppchalker - That's a peerless moustache you've drawn there.

    @lx - I like Batman here: he looks, well, quite bat-ish.

    @DBed - Very nice: I like the robo-Robin & the Bat-Steam-Engine.

    @DBed - Outstanding combination of the hat and the mask. That's damn clever.
