Don't be sad; remember that we're playing with one of THE most recognizable iconic characters in the world, and we are playing with someone else's toys, someone who is VERY protective of that particular toy. So the fact that we're allowed to do even this level of use of Batman is amazing; anything further would be just impossible and courting loads of trouble.

@Sizer I figured it was a long shot but I was hoping if there was enough chatter we might find a voice that could pitch this... Few to none of these pictures look like they would really do any damage to the icon and attendant schema (well, maybe the "cadamite" one, but I loved that one and will put it somewhere Secret and Safe to admire when Diane Nelson, DiDio, Lee et al can't see...) and so maybe they would entertain a slightly tangential addition to the franchise?

Ah well. but I want it so bad....

I must admit that I adopted this image from another poster for an art show Schnackenberg work. I just couldn't resist the irony it would present for bat man and his greatest antagonist.
A link to that poster, http://www.postersplease.com/posterblog/?p=1019

    My rendition.

The title is poorly translated Italian for "Laugh at the Bat".

Well, I managed to put this together:

The Staempunk batman is fueled by the gas of vengeance!

    Keep them coming!
