Afternoon
So nothing bad happened whilst they were out...
Just over the worst of a cold, which of course peaked on a day which was full of meetings, so I could'nt spend it in bed.
4 day weekend with the Grandparents this weekend, so should be able to relax and hand over the boy to them :) -

Going home now to meet the kitteh I am adopting today. Very excited! -
Actually midday here... I wish it were morning, I'd be turning around in my bed.
First of all nice to meet you, I just logged in. Met this wonderful comic thanks to Rich Burlew (OOTS) who put a link to the winner of the Eagle award. Thanks Giant, I was missing something cool.
I'm from Italy, please correct me mercilessly if I write something wrong with the language. You almost never get to speak English where I live, and I need it to work.

point one, I really think Arkady could fall (or already fell) for Connor. And I'd love if it happened
point two: it amazes me how Kaitlin seems to casually mutter the word "Ribspreader" making it sound like something sex related... and makes me question my sanity because I kinda like this in some perverted way
point three: Luke's face in panel 4 (upper right) is hilarious
point four: dying really does something for his looks, he seems like 4 years younger since he woke up

Call me a shipper, but in this episode and the last, Arkady's been looking like she will pounce on Connor at any moment.Something absolutely awful is about to happen...

I shouldn't worry too much, they're a surprisingly tolerant bunch round here.
Ms Osbourne, i do hope you're up and feeling better soon, there seems to be a lot of it about, i noticed Mr Ellis was complaining of feeling a bit peaky the other day though he appears to have perked up a little today.
Freakangels is as always really rather good and everyone involved in its production has my profound thanks for providing such excellent entertainment.
I shall leave plot speculation to nimbler minds than mine, though i tend to agree with Louie Huwie, something is going to happen. As for Kait and the ribspreader...tut tut, bad girl! -
More lull before the storm!
It's my birthday and I have the day off work. I have a new pair of ADIDAS Darth Vader trainers, which is all good. The mother-in-law is visiting tomorrow, so I have to tidy up and clean, although I expect my son will undo all the work as soon as he returns from nursery. -

I expect Mr Ellis is toying with us regarding the chemistry between Arkady and Connor but I would love it so. *sigh*
Luke seems quite different, did he get a 'tweak' too? Apart from the forehead art. :D
I think our computer system is thinking about crashing as it is taking ages for it to catch up with my typing. Again. -

Nice to see that Luke is finally getting it - he seems almost pitiful now. Methinks Miki might have performed one of her new medical tricks there, too.

Arkady does look ready to pounce on Con. I'd love that, but would be surprised if it happened. Seriously, someone other than Sirkka needs to get some.

So...what's a ribspreader? Do I need to Urbandictionary this?
(Urbandictionary, unlike Google, lacks pictures, making it my source of choice when researching questionable material)
And where did that nice drawing on Luke's head come from? The wine party at Carl's?
Sore throat moving into its third day, makes eating/sleeping/drinking a very unhappy experience.

@ NextThursday - a ribspreader is a device pathologists (like Quincy) use in the course of an autopsy. Think "jaws of life", only for ribs. (Reg'lar docs use it too, I think.) So .. ya get it now? Kait's VERY MUCH INTO Quincy. Very much so.
Great episode. Could've done with nore naked Sirkka but whatevs.

The last flashback showed Arkady already had a soft spot for Connor. "Girls are going to like you." It's just that he was never dangerous enough for her. The recent headsplodey episode (episplode?) has changed that, of course.
What a surprisingly low-key return for Luke! And Karl just needs to learn how to turn water into wine.
I want to talk about what Miki said about "tweaking" Mark. It may be the Boss just throwing us off the scent again or playing with our emotions (like he does so well!) It may be that she just added a few hours to his sleepytime. It may be that she treated his wounds and the trauma has him knocked out.
But what if she messed with his brain? Is that morally better than what he's been doing to everyone else? Kirk and Karl tried to give him euthanasia and gave him a stroke instead. Should they have gone for a lobotomy?
And if Miki has messed with Mark's brain and made him less aggressive, can we be sure she didn't "tweak" Luke as well? She's been exhausted and exasperated for a while now. Can we be sure she hasn't tweaked them all? -
Episode 15? Ariana must be really sick :(

Beautiful. Perfection. Last three pages from previous episode (I understand now) form a beautiful segue into this little victory dance with every mark hit perfectly. Term papers could be written about this episode.

Hey, if a Freakangel can read a mind, why not to watch other's dreams? When they're were in the middle of the updating process, they're were in a "collective dream state", or sort of.
Hmmmm, never mind. Or we'll have a Sandman squad here. Or worse: Kait locking others into her own dreams to interrogation. Gaaah, this would be an experience! Quincy would help her to interrogate the suspect and after... No, let it be. Never mind me.

episode with some interesting items. Arkady who indeed seems to have (like Lurker stated) a soft spot for Conner, but that could be concluded after the first page of epsiode 114 as well: "You silly boy - silly man", remember?
And Miki tweaking Mark, I wonder what she did and what the consequenses will be, both in short as in long terms...
And I am curious on what near future will bring, for Conner is obviously very, very worried: the worst is to come, things have only just begun. -
Well, glad to see that everyone is up and about and there is (presumably) no panic in the streets. Still gotta wonder whats up with that helicopter....
@Next Thursday, Luke wonderful new identifying mark (signifying he IS a dickhead) came from Miki, Luke was lying in a chair passed out, Miki checks his brain hole to see it has healed and then gives him the tat. Brilliant. (odd question, why next thursday and not next friday, since it's what we're all here for :P)
Onto what seems to be the topic of the episode, Connor and Arkady. Made for each other? Probably, out of all the Freakangels those two seem like the ones that really want things to end up going as peacefullly as possible. And they (in my view) hold the other 9 somewhat together. Go get 'em Connor, you're no longer the fat one!
