    And he looks like he's getting ready to do a little "Urban" renewal! Heh heh heh.*

    *I'm terribly sorry.

    I don't want to come over all 'older dr who fan' but speaking as an older judge dredd fan, doesn't the helmet look about two sizes too big? (I am an older dr who fan)

    I like it! I'm very much looking forward to this.
    The helmet does look on the large size, but I think that's just coz of the angle of the shot.

    Close enough. As long as the helmet stays on.

    Isn't it just that his jaw isn't, as it is in the comic, as big as the whole rest of his head?

    @Fan

    Yeah, I think you're right. That's one of the few things that I liked about Stallone's Dredd; he at least had the mouth and jaw to pull it off (rest of the movie non-withstanding).

    Come on guys. Let's not go all 'OMFG HIS HELMIT IS 2 BIG MY CHILDHOOD IS RAEPED!'

    It looks okay. And it's a film, not a damn drawing. And it's not a disco muscle mary Versace outfit, at least either.

    Looks pretty good to me.
    I already feel the horrible memories of Sly's big ugly helmet-less Dredd face fading away...

    This is hugely exciting. I am hugely excited. Looking forward to seeing more of the uniform, the city, etc. I'm a big Dredd fan. As far as I'm concerned they can play as fast and loose as they deem appropriate with the look of Dredd and the uniform--Dredd's look traditionally varies from artist to artist anyhow. Urban has the look of an early Carlos Ezquerra Dredd about him.

    Quote from the producer, on CBR:

    He’s not going to take off his helmet. His bike is going to feel real. He’s going to hit people and it’s going to feel real.

    Are we getting Dark Judges in this one? Anderson's in it, isn't she, so that might indicate it's possible. There will be fanboy upset if they have dark Judges and either leave out or screw up That Line though.

    No Dark Judges.
