    Spiderman movie poster

I like the idea of a poster which could be displayed either way up

Oh, shit. I guess it lost one tragically in the editing process.

@mthemordant — Nice to see someone else who'd cast Downey Jr. as Spider. His resemblance to Spider in A Scanner Darkly was kind of uncanny for me — just make him angrier and give him some profanity, and we're in business.

I count 8 legs. Two of them are just really close together, and another tucked in close to the body.

Love this thread so much! Great week, everyone!

    kyle mclachlan as spidey

I wish I had time to properly participate in this project. Alas, all I have to submit is this. I drew it NINETEEN YEARS AGO, when Twin Peaks was still on the air. I even started an aborted shot-for-shot remake in comics form of The Death of Gwen Stacy that featured Ray Wise as Norman Osborn and Sheryl Lee as Gwen Stacy. Yep--he got to kill her again.

Fred G and Paul Duffield: Yours are my favorites and look the most like a true Lynch poster. Wallopin' Websnappers!

There have been some truly awe-inspiring submissions, but WHERE THE FUCK IS NEILFORD'S ENTRY.

    Sorry. I am a fan.

@Paul Sizer: Yours looks like an actual Lynch poster, as well. Especially the blurred typography.

I thought Henry Rollins would have been a good Kraven, too. (This is a random comment, and has nothing to do with you, Paul.)

@ Sobreiro - I keep meaning to mention how much I'm in love with your icon. I feel like Lynch and Oldman would work well together. Oh, who am I kidding, Oldman is perfect in absolutely everything.
