@keyofsilence - Thank you! Aiming for more ambitious projects in 2011, if I can work out what to do. @frequent - Still knocking it out of the park, you goddamn mutant. Love it. @lazzyfair - Gorgeous. @FredG - Nice van. It just screams "4chan Party Van" to me, but that may just be a sign of my misspent youth.
Love infographic maps. Here's how far I've gone from the first bat-andre to the next ... Andre is mowing down bad guys I've not penciled in ... Dynamic foreshortening is the lesson I'm trying to master ... and here's my truck scheme —
Internet has been down for way longer than is humane, and man I missed A LOT. About to break my right mouse button from all the "save image as" action.
@harris-ejaz: looks like I'm not the only one who's been studying at the dojo of Android Jones, reminiscent but not aping, I like it.
@neilford: again, damn man, just damn. I posted a link to your site on the Alchemy forums some days back btw, although I can't recall if your using Harmony now(nursing a virus, brain no worky so good)?
Last one of the year for me. Many thanks for 2010 my brethren, you have encouraged, suprised and delighted me all year - what a brilliant place. Ya rawks, everyone of ya.
There's so many beautiful pieces in this month posts that I feel pretty much like a lame third class player... Duh, bad english, I don't know the correct sentence to express what I fell... But heck, I'll post it anyway.
I graduated on december 16th. It was not much of a party, but it was gratifying nonetheless. My thesis(wich was not a thesis, actualy it is an exhibition, but it serves as a thesis), well, it consisted of a story, told as a comic book but using different, uhm, mediums to tell it, not quite a printed format. Well, actually, there was some printing... Anyway, the first part of the story, the first four pages, were told in a wall painting (well, I didn't got the permission to use any wall near the place where the exhibition was held, rather I painted two wooden plates, 6x4 feet each, and placed 'em in the sidewalk, so it played the part of a wall painting - kind of a grafitti, too). Uhm, ok, next, pages 5 to 18, each panel was made as an acrylic on wood painting, small, 8x10 inches, mostly, thus, each page was assembled on the walls (the exhibition was held on a cultural pub - artistic and hippie shit, and stuff). The pages were spread accros the place, the idea was that each person had to walk around the pub, following the page numbers as guides. Then, the last 3 pages and "cover" of the story were printed, and that was also the catalogue of the exhibition. And that's it. So, I'll be uploading the pictures of the exhibition when there's any to show. For now, I only have this to show you all:
It's all in spanish, so if you don't know any, IT'S ABOUT TIME YOU START LEARNING SOME! (really! come on, you can say very beautiful things in spanish to chicks! and they will melt like butter in your fingers!!)
So, fuck you people, why do you all have to be so damn good??!
Bad joke. I hope you like it. You are all incredibely awesome! This have been one of the BEST Artist's thread. Happy new year to all!!! Best wishes.
