@Greasemonkey - I remember that painting from your earlier post! It came out really cool! How did your exhibition go?
I'd like to challenge everyone to post a photo of what's on their drawing board right now. Even if it is rough or unfinished. Ideally you can see your hand and/or a bit of the space around the drawing board - not just the drawing, but the piece in context of workspace. Here's mine:
So much amazing work here already this month, and we're barely a week in. Also great to see tips & tutorials shooting about.
Just a few of the many things: @HEY APATHY! - love the front page piece @Neil Ford - knocking it out of the park, as ever @Michael Shea - God I love to see spreads of character designs and faces like that @Rooth - this stuff is just killer @Amalgamated - that red spot colour is sharp as HELL

@Oddbill - cheers, yeah, I'm stoked at the way it came out. My exhibition was a big success, sold all of my miniatures, a couple of small works and one large painting (the one with the HELL subway station). I made two grand and met a couple of big names from the local art scene, so it was a good experience.
What's on my drawing board at the moment? Hang on and I'll take a pic.
Toronto Autumn With Subway Spiders (c) Greasemonkey 2010. Acrylics on 3'x2'6" stretched canvas. I got a few stares, sitting out on Isabella and Sherbourne streets painting the linework for those buildings. The streetlamp is from Church street in the gay village.
I'm posting a couple enlarged details from the linework for my Jenny Everywhere piece to help with character recognition for those trying to figure out who's who in the other thread: Note the ponytail on this one. That narrows down which reality crosser he could be.
@oddbill and kevinmellon...those pages look beautiful... @-3- nice expression between the two characters. don't actually have a drawing board and haven't touched my sketchbook in a while but some digital drawings after a hard day at work. Roller derby pics are on break tonight but it's nice to just draw something without too much thought...
I made a version of this portrait of Jon Stewart in the run-up to his Rally to Restore Sanity but not in time to do anything with it. Since I still like it (and even Shepard Fairey approved of it) I decided to make some stickers. Please visit my flickrstream for all the details.
It's also available as a print at Society6. Check it out:
Too embarressed to show you my desk, it looks like a herd of wildebeast have given birth on it. Found this peedie fella under a pile of empty beer cans though...
@vandalhandle Whoa, just went through the whole thread and saw your Fairey version of Julian Assange. What a coincidence! Be sure to send a copy of it to his people, maybe you'll get a fun phone call from them like I did!
