been playing a lot of the Bionic Commando sequel from a fews years back. its a lot of fun, but very linear and un complicated. well worth the $8! old games rule.

I can't stop playing Minecraft. I stopped playing anything but Minecraft sometime in September. I still can't fully explain why I'm so taken by this game, but I'm fully hooked to be sure.
I have Fallout 3, Red Dead Redemtion and a few others just collecting dust. My Xbox has become a movie streaming device.

Wait, I lied. I played Left 4 Dead 2 with a friend once last week.

@joe.distort - I freakin' loved Bionic Commando back in the day. Never tried any of the sequels though.

The original Bionic Commando was the first game I ever beat. I left my NES on for a week and a half getting through the final areas.

Installed New Vegas, Borderlands, Metro 2033... and Recettear. Playing NV, liking it a lot. It has something that Fallout 3 lacked... although I'm not 100% sure what that is.

    Just finished Batman: Arkham Asylym.

Good, not great....I was expecting more in terms of the script (the final confrontation with Joker is shit). Some parts of the gameplay don't fit really well with the batman universe (all the riddler stuff for instance). But in general it was a fun game with nice graphics.

It was good enough to get me from the super meat boy craze..

Been playing a lot of strategy games. Empire Total War is surprisingly through and detailed. However, I do prefer Warhammer much more, especially for the dark humor. But, when I need a break from thinking too much, Killing Floor reminds me that games can be simple, fun and violently beautiful.

(I am so sorry if that sounded ridiculous and very douche bag worthy. I try to stay away from those things, when I can)

I spend all my gaming time on League of Legends and their newest (comes out in 2 weeks champ) seems like a FreakAngels nod - Caitlyn, the Sheriff. I'm excited. ;)

came back to wow to check out cataclysm, probably won't renew it after this month or maybe february. also hooked on dungeon fighter online, and minecraft.

though since bad company 2: vietnam just released today, i'll probably ignore my pc in favor of my 360.

been meaning to play through bioshock and the mass effect games again as well. so seeing as how the store i work at closes on thursday, i'll have A LOT of time to do some gaming before my 'get a job day' goal of january 15th.

oh and a friend who's moving just gave me their wii so i'll probably become hopelessly addicted to monster hunter.

kind of burned out on new vegas after playing 6+ hours a day for the week it came out, i've been really hesitant to play the end of the game because it seems like there's a sizeable gap between the end and the point of no return, apparently the first dlc came out today so i'll probably start it up again.

I wonder if this would be the wrong thread to ask about Playstation network names?

And currently I am playing 'Fallout: New Vegas'. Been playing it for days and I still don't think I'm halfway through the main quest.

@Will This is absolutely the thread for that. I don't have a PS3, so all I know that's on PSN is Blood Omen. Go get you that.

@Fauxhammer: The original 'Blood Omen' is on PSN? Interesting for when I have money to buy it.

I'll get the PSN ball rolling, it's Lean_deal. Any PS3 people feel free to add me.

Totally geeky question; Do you have any unique hardware or software you use? For example, I do a bit of simulation stuff and I'm really curious about the TrackIR, perhaps enough so to buy it with no personal experience.

Started Enslaved the other day. Already half through. Really like it so far, Reminds me of a cross between Uncharted, Tomb Raider, Prince of Persia, and The Mark of Kri. Nothing too unique, but a well-made, fun little indulgence worth 20-30 bucks.

Also been re-playing some Fire Emblem (serious love for this series right here) on my GBA emulator of the DSTWO on my DSI XL

Two years in recovery from the siren song of WoW here! Currently trying to resist the temptation of ressurecting the old rogue for Cataclysm... the fiends have released the expansion just as my workload and family/christmas pressures are mounting up - they might as well have put 'Emergency Exit' on the box above the title

Right now I've been randomly buying cheap second hand 360 games, playing Bayonetta which is... an experience - and recently made an unexpectedly nice discovery with a game I'd never heard of called Nier

@Will Blood Omen is a PS3 system seller for me, or would be if I had the dinero for one. The entire Legacy of Kain series* is Happy Place Gaming for me, and it really shits that it ended on a cliffhanger.

I'd love to see them finish the series as either a small, downloadable game, like the Tomb Raider XBLA/PSN game they did, or at least a CG movie. My ultimate fantasy is a full reboot, since you can only fix the fuckery done by time travel with more time travel.

But, alas and alack, I doubt we'll ever see it.

I guess I'll just listen to "Ozar Midrashim" and cry into a goblet of cherry Kool-Aid syrup that I'm pretending is blood. Vae Victis!

*Except for Blood Omen 2. Fuck that game.
